My green Stanley coffee thermos was purchased in 1986 when I was going to college, working two part time jobs and doing Army ROTC. I used it a ton over my career and use it today. It is beat up a tad and the paint has come off in places, but hey, it still works. I used to boil water, fill the bottle, let it sit for 10 minutes, pour the water out and fill it with coffee. As long as you do not lose it, it will last a lifetime, really.
i jumped on the stanley bandwagon. yes very nice cups. i wouldn't sit outside a target or flip out for the latest drop but I love the two I have. i have the quencher in plum 30 oz and 30 oz ice flow and to be honest I like my ice flow one better because its easier to take places
Watching while sipping on my iceflow 30oz. I prefer it because it doesnt have a handle. I also have an older model 23oz quencher and the lids are interchangeable between the 20oz and 30oz so its perfect
when i was growing up, stanley was just known for making thermoses for tradesmen and outdoorsy men. it was a dependable and reliable market but not a lot of room for growth. Whoever at Stanley decided to market to girls and sell more colors and cute bottles with straws is a marketing genius
Personally, I dont ride such hypes, however since i got the quencher, i have not used another cup for last 1 year. Until then i may have gone through or broken atleast 10 to 15 water bottles, from amazon and costco. Many youtubers either missed out or chose not to mention why it was a major hit. Apart from influencer marketing and burned car incident, The fundamental reason is why people started loving stanley is "there was a time it is the only 40 oz cup that could fit in a cup holder and keep your drinks chilled without condensation" .. large, mess-free, portability. moms and gym freaks started loving it for that reason coz many of our lives are spent onside a car for atleast 2 hours a day.
Just bought my first Stanley cup last weekend while on vacation (I needed a pool-friendly, non-spill, non-break cup). I wasn't shopping for Stanley at all. It just happened to be in the front of Target as you walk in and I grabbed one for my mom and myself. Neither my mom or I have used anything else since then (even upon return from vacay)! I LOVE an ungodly amount of ice in my drinks and this provides no matter the location, and despite having to be on the go. I am a Stanley believer. I, like you, never thought I would buy into this craze, but I did. And I am a fan!
also i believe you arent supposed to use hot liquids in the quenchers? it says cold liquid only when looking at the quenchers, im aware aeerolight transit bottles can use both hot and cold but im confused about the quenchers
If you look at the stanley from the past that still work from years past so one cup will be the last one needed i have payed for other brands they leak i got the iceflow it does not leak
I wanted to buy one as a gift. This video had everything I was looking for, even down to the lead scaremongering. Thank you for a great video! I also like that you actually own each of the products, and not just one of them.
The Iceflow tumbler DEFINITELY leaks. They all leak. I have a Hydroflask and it may leak a tiny bit, but nothing compared to the Iceflow. He had not no critique, definitely suspect.
I've never had a leak with the Iceflow. I gave this to my son who has taken it to school every day, and he doesn't baby it. He's had no leak. I can only speak from my experience, not yours.
Areolight doesn't keep it hot for 3 hours never mind what this man says and the metal at the top of the cup gets very warm so obviously it's losing heat hence I say 3 hours and it's cooling down
First, I refuse to call this thing the Stanley Cup. There's only one Stanley Cup, and that bad boy comes with a hockey puck and stitches. :) You know, I've never been in to the thermal type containers. A prefer drinking room temperate water and drinks, and if my hot coffee gets cold then I'll drink it room temperature too. No fuss, no muss. But the missus...she loves her Yetis. I don't get the appeal, but she likes having ice water wherever she goes...so be it. Maybe I'll order a 30-ounce Quencher for her birthday just to see how she reacts to it. She does love her Yeti. Cheers!
I prefer my Stanley cup (30oz) over my Yeti. I was a Stanley skeptic, but now a believer. Of course I still use my Yeti, but will probably would choose Stanley moving forward (sorry Yeti).
It's just a trend. Yeti and a few other brands are every bit as good. We've tried them all. I guess if you want to jump on the bandwagon and spend the money then you do you. LOL Don't get the hype honestly.
Real funny@@BeastMadeReviews. . . You look like my sister-in-law's little brother. He was adopted, and he looks just like you. So I figured I'd ask... If you never gave anyone up for adoption it's just a funny coincidence❤️

@@justjill2896 yeah they are spill proof.
i just purchased an ice flow today. I like that it came with a straw although it has a flip top
Project Farm did a video on Tumblers a few months ago and Stanley performed very well.
I'll have to go watch! That's a great channel

Why isnt this video more popular, its amazing and super informative!
Thank you very much. It’s so hard to decide. But you have helped me narrow down the field 😊
also i believe you arent supposed to use hot liquids in the quenchers? it says cold liquid only when looking at the quenchers, im aware aeerolight transit bottles can use both hot and cold but im confused about the quenchers
I think the Quenchers are good with hot liquids. From their website it gives an "hours hot" range.

Just bought the pumpkin spice color today my first Stanley cup .. I’ll give it a go. Ready to be either really happy or super upset.
don't be upset if it doesn't taste like Pumpkin Spice. :)
For the Aerolight - some confusion as you say it’s the 20oz but the sticker on the bottle itself says 16oz
Thank you! I misspoke. It's the 16oz. There is a larger 20oz version available.
You should try the rtic version of the Stanley quencher
❤ I have an antique one. Green!
Stanley lover which quencher size would you recommend me 40oz or 30 oz ?
I prefer the 30oz size. But if you drink a lot, the 40oz great too.
Me watching this while drinking from my Stanley iceflow 30oz 😂
Aww thank you for this I didn’t notice the calmness without an ad thank you for this informative video
Glad it was helpful!
I need a Stanley bottle
I love Stanley x Starbucks🥰🥰🥰
My daughter is begging me for a damn 50 dollar CUP wtf has America come to paying this much for a ugly azz cup omg

I use the iceflow tumbler for around 5 months now and it never leaked, my friend has it as well and it also didn't leak
Do you still drink out of these cups?
absolutely. Me and my family use all of these every day.
Areolight doesn't keep it hot for 3 hours never mind what this man says and the metal at the top of the cup gets very warm so obviously it's losing heat hence I say 3 hours and it's cooling down
That’s what Stanley says. Don’t listen to this weirdo 👆🏻
Doesn't matter. It's trend and it is a good product. It is what it is. There will be another brand soon that will be popular. That's life. Let it go.
I'm not sure what you are referring to. I love these
Owala is already taking its place
If anything, YOU need to get over it
