    2019 I followed your channel and learned the material before I found your Chanel I failed the asvab 4 times literally I thought I was a retard now I’m a 42 Alpha and I’m going to ROTC to become a officer thanks a lot man

      I failed the asvab 3 times, now ive been using this ASVAB For dummies and this Grammar Hero. I became so much better at math not totally there yet but im getting better, i take the asvab in 4 weeks.

      @Rhinnard Williams Congrats to you! My son recently failed and felt the same way. I have him enrolled with a tutor and we just found grammar hero! He’s going to take another practice test end of next month. Praying this helps. So happy for you!

    I’m 20 studying for the asvab, math has always been something I struggled with and never understood. This is amazing how I am finally getting it . Thank you grammar hero !

    Thank you very much for these videos. My Asvab study book covers different methods of finding the answers to each question. However, it does not cover these basic concepts that you need to know in order to solve the problems. Super helpful stuff right here, I really appreciate it!

    Math and Arithmetic reasoning are two of my weakest subjects to work with. Thank you for helping me grab an easier understanding with not only the formulas, but also the proper steps to achieve the answer!! (gives you a air hug) taking the ASVAB once more on the 15th in hopes to get my 109 GT score for OCS in the USCG

    Is the ASVAB heavy on geometry? I'm focusing maybe 70% of my time in AR and MK.

      I've posted videos on all the geometry you need to know for the ASVAB. Check out my videos with the red backgrounds; those correspond to the mathematics knowledge subtest, which is where you'll see most of your geometry questions.

    So, if I go ahead and study the numbers you presented in the chart above, will that save me the step on breaking down the prime factorization of the numbers? Like how (81) becomes (3 raised to the 4).

      OTAKU-すでに死んで I’m actually going in like a week or so. I went in the shuttle bus and it crashed then my recruiter took me but they wouldn’t let me in because I had a bit of a high temperature “covid”. Advice for anyone don’t sit in the window seat if the sun is out.

    This was a super helpful video and explained some things I didn't even intend on learning. Although, I came across a difficult question on a practice ASVAB test and it was written as (2√3 + 5√2)(3√3 - 4√2) with multiple choices being А) 11 + 7√6, B) 22 + 7√6, C) -11 + 7√6, D) -22 + 7√6.
    I have no idea how to simplify this equation, do you have any videos on radicals written such as this?
    I tried using FOIL and didn't come close to the answers. Is it possible you could refer me to where I could find something to help me with this?

      @@cmacmed I wouldn't worry too much about radicals for the ASVAB; in my experience, they are not a big part of the test.

      @@cmacmed It's hard to say. Generally, the AFOQT is similar to the ASVAB. Have you taken a practice test with a recruiter yet?

      Red background = Mathematics Knowledge (MK);
      Yellow background = Arithmetic Reasoning (AR).

    i think you miss wrote number 2 on simplifying radical expressions for the excersises it’s sqr root 49a2b12 not 49a2b16
