Hello Grammar hero, I've been using the list for the asvab and all the practices tests I've done the mathematical knowledge but theirs one section that I struggle with is the word problems. I'm a visual learner and learn quick but the word problems throws me off by a lot. with everything i'm alright at any tips?? Also love ur videos

You just answered your own question. I = total - p If you move p to the other side of the equation, you can find total. I = total - p +p +p I + p = total total = I + p. I just rearranged the equation using simple addition.
Hey I’m not sure if I’m correct or not but on that last problem the question asked for the total amount after 18 years .... yearly I think he made $525.00 so wouldn’t you have to multiply the yearly interest earn by 18 years???? Thanks for the help 👌 Marines corps 💪 oorahhhhh!!!

How come for problem #4 has the formula I=total-p and problem #5 as Total=p+I ? I may want more clarification on that please.

Unfortunately, that's not correct, since we accounted for time when we plugged 18 into the simple interest formula. My solution is the correct one.
Does the equation FV = p(1 + nr) work as well?
FV = Future Value
P = Principal
N = Number of Years
R = Interest Rate
