I’ve been watching your videos for a long time I remember when I took the Pi-Cat and scored a 47 in February and when I told my recruiter I wanted to take the ASVAB instead of taking that 47 he told me it was a mistake. Trystan, be very careful about those "teachers" offering $700 tutoring services. Yesterday, I reviewed my spam comments, and a user by the name of "Nclex RN Teaching" was trying to post comments about ASVAB tutoring on my channel. After reviewing their channel, it's clear that they were attempting to scam people. If you do use an online tutor, please never pay for more than one tutoring session upfront. A legitimate tutor will have no problem with that whatsoever.

    • @sune6708
      @sune6708 2 года назад

      A little late, but I'll take a shot. The main goal is to isolate the variable. Which ever side of the equation has the variable (E.g n, x , y) you use the number associated with it to divide both sides by. Example: 15x = 30 15 has the X, to get the x by itself you would need to divide 15 by 15 and 30 by 15. It would look like : 15/15x = 30/15 . The 15's cancel out on the left side of the equation and 30/15 would be 2. The equation would be X = 2

      I appreciate the offer, but I have more content available for free here on RUclips than you'll ever get from a private tutor or even a test prep course.
      If you watch all of the videos in my A Review of the Basic Math Topics playlist, you'll be in good shape. Here it is: ruclips.net/video/reftFE1Hx78/видео.html.
      Also, I have a playlist with nothing but practice tests here: ruclips.net/video/reftFE1Hx78/видео.html
      By the way, I keep an eye on what tutors are charging for ASVAB test prep, and they are really taking advantage of people who are trying to join the military. If you watch my videos and learn the information independently, you'll be in better shape in the long run.

    I feel like it's easier to do the formulas where you can use "What # is % of #" from the last video's for these problems instead of using this formula. I got the same answers.

    I take my test on the 9/22 and this has helped me a lot . My first practice test I score a 26 and hopefully when I go test I score a 50 or above ….. arithmetic reasoning is what I need the most attention in

    I took my asvab twice and I didn't pass so.... Next month is my last chance to pass because if I fail it, again.... I will have to wait 6 months. My first score was a 15 and my second score was a 23. I want to join the Navy. I'm not really good with math problems, at all.
