    Yet another high quality instructional video! As you said “lost in the abyss of golf instruction “ is the problem. You provide the logic of the moves. Thanks

    Very clear! Seen a lot of videos buy none so clear on that fundamental parte of the swing. Thank you!

    These are very critical components of a good golf swing that have been entirely overlooked by all golf instructors bravo!

    Your advice has transformed my swing. Many questions that I have had for years, have now been answered. Doing the reps is so important to ingrain the different parts of the swing into the brain. Its not an easy journey for me, but the results are paying off and I feel far more confident in my understanding and ability. I would advise anyone to just watch the instruction over and over if necessary, to get the understanding of exactly what you are teaching. As far as I am concerned your help could not have come too soon. Thank you from the UK. Really excited about my golfing future, and at the age of 77 too.

      Absolutely love to hear this and thank you for taking the time to post a comment like this. It means more to me than you’d ever know when hear students going through the processes of change for the better. Keep going!!!!

    This transformed the consistency of my club turf contact. I didn’t realize how much my trail heel was coming up…and the impact of that on the low point variation. Thank you.

      Thank you for watching and glad you found some stuff to help you out with impact. Pretty crazy how the trail foot can disrupt things through the bottom of the arc.

    My pro has been hammering this point over multiple lessons now, and starting to see the benefits. It's great having some good closeups of how and when to get that foot rolling.

    Superb video. People don't realize that the power comes from the downswing at the hip to other hip point of the swing. Chris proves, AGAIN, it's not about brute force, it's about timing. I see people on the range, or the course, who think pirouetting to the toe box at the finish is the definition of a proper swing, ( what me and my bro in law called posing) but don't seem to grasp the ball was hit long before that. These vids offer simple tools and sensible rep breakdowns to get the sequences down and help create smoothness and timing. Keep them coming Chris.

    Great for all my irons - and chippings. Appreciate if I can have one question - should I apply this to driver shots also?

    • @MyGolfDNA
      @MyGolfDNA  Год назад

      This can/will certainly work for the driver as well. Patrick Reed is a good example of someone that leaves the trail foot on down with his driver and it’s safe to say that he hits it at least reasonably:)

  • @mplunky1
    @mplunky1 Год назад

    Is this the same movement for the Driver?
    Also in the half swing movement is it acceptable to move your lead hand go to thumb up in backswing to thumb up to the hip high on the thru swing or is that over exaggerating to degree of hand rotation in the proper release of the club?

    • @MyGolfDNA
      @MyGolfDNA  Год назад

      You can use this with the driver for sure and your thumb up to thumb approach is just fine. Grip plays a role in this though. So you’ll want to watch the starting line of the ball flight to know if you’re overcooking or undercooking the release.

      Yes, Chris does talk quite a bit, but the content is very clear and concise. He is rather unique in his style, but the serious content is there. He is very good in my view and there is a lot to be gained from listening to him.
