I agree, the dry brushing on the black did give it movement! You could have used gold or even the magenta and it would look good, I didn’t mind the bleeding because it gave it character. Love how it turned out!💕🇨🇦
Yes. That is probably the biggest I can go with this size paper. I like to work really large. I would need to do it differently. But I'm considering it.
Love your papers! What stencil did you use for the b&w…I love those big bold shapes. What are you using to glue papers down? Curious why you wrap all the way around back vs stopping at sides. Also, is GAC200 especially for gold leaf? How is it different from GAC100…or gloss medium? Why did you use GAC200 first and then use pouring medium after? Is that how you typically finish a piece instead of a varnish? Sorry for so many questions. It’s my first time seeing your videos and I’m used to different products. Thanks
I use the GAC 200 because I have it and these are wood panels. The GAC 100 is more universal and can be used on Canvas to seal. I like to use the GAC 200 to seal the papers first and then once that dry I do the pouring medium to get the glass like finish. I haven't found anything else that is that glossy. Only resin and that dries flat. The pouring medium still show any texture that might be there. I hope that helps.
I added a photo link to the description. I'm not at the studio today. I think it's just gold. It is out of stock on Amazon and I couldn't find it anywhere else.

Thank you so much.

This turned out really great. I love that gold paint. I think you could try a bigger 16x20 gel plate to make some much larger gel prints.

Wow! Talk about happy accidents! You really responded to what happened and thank you for sharing this teachable moment with us!
Sometimes we have to pivot. It all worked out in the end. Even better I think.
Happy accident . Great save . looks amazing ! 😍
Thanks. I was so relieved. Just as in life things always work out for the best. Thanks for watching.
Hello, 🎉from Beautiful British Columbia Canada 🇨🇦
Love the blues❤
Thank you so much!
Art whisperer 88 has an 18x24” Gelli Arts plate right from their website. Scale UP!!
I would love to but I have a really small studio space and that is something I would use seldom. Maybe in the future.
That's really good.
I'm glad you like it.
Thanks for the inspiration!
You are so welcome!
Wonderful! Could you please tell me what kind of paper you use except the tissue? Thank you ❤❤❤❤
The blue papers are rice paper from Art Advantage. amzn.to/3mgru8L

Where did you buy your t-bar ruler that is shown at 6:20? Love the videos!
I've had that t-square forever. I got it at an art supply when I still lived in NYC. You can probably get one like it at Blick.
@@SusanCliftonArtist That's a great idea. I'll look for one. Thanks :)
Could you share with me what the name of the gold Sargeant paint is? TY

I've considered that. I'm planning on rearranging things here so that is possible. I need more space but can't at this time. Need to purge! LOL
