    I own a 2015 legacy 3.6 R. My 2nd week after I bought it brand new , the GPS went out. Had to wait 2 weeks for the part. A year later light bezel on shifter went out. Dealer fixed it 3 times and after 8 years it went out again. Lots of electrical issues. Oil gasket pan leaked after only 55000 miles and now I need a new bearing after 67000 miles. I will not buy another subaru in the future. I own a Honda accord and acura integra. Both of those had been in shop less time for the past 24 years.

All other settings are just a tap away with clear graphics and fat finger sized inputs. Or just put in Auto. It’s a non-issue.

    23 white sports trim owner here. The 24 sport added the Bose system which is something I miss. I wouldn't recommend getting the wireless charging pads because they don't have proper cooling and will heat up your phone. I've driven it for 1.3 years and 14k miles, and the only issue I've had is the front radiator assembly leaking when the car isn't warmed up properly and then pushed up to a high temperature. The dealer replaced it under warranty because there was no physical damage.
    I noticed in videos the LDA opened all the time, the car will handle better if you change the LDA form ALL functions to Warning only, it drastically change the turning feeling and cornering hesitation. But I keep it on all the time xD. However, the car's handling isn't the same for the different cars with the same trim. My car accelerates and turns better under 30% fuel but doesn't change much even when adding more weight above 50% fuel. My friend's one driver consistently worst at all full range. And one used sport trim from a local dealer when I test drove consistently good and as the same feeling as touring trim. I highly recommend test-driving one before buying. Glad to answer any related questions.

      2024 Sport owner 2k on the Odometer. So far I really like it, it’s not my 2020 WRX but still fun… sorry for being dense.. what do you mean LDA being open in the comments? I am all about looking to get this car tighter in the corners, I know it won’t be WRX tight but anything to get it in that direction. It still handles pretty good for those looking to pick one up.

    • @adamh8140
      @adamh8140 6 месяцев назад +1

      Basically, if the corner have the boundary line, the LDA system will against you a bit when you turn-in. I put the function under warning only, by that way the Eyesight LDA system didn't inject steering info to system. Makes car feel a bit more nimble and consist. I think the styling of this Legacy is one of the PLUSES for it in this segment, not an Air Ball; it's not overly styled with lines going all different ways & crazy gimmicks and such (I'm looking at you, Camry, Accord & Sonata). I think I'd like this Legacy even better as a wagon; that would give improved cargo space. Thanks, brothers!

      I have an Outback with this system. When you first start the car, the screen is slow. However... How often are you changing the climate controls? Don't most people just leave it on Auto at their favorite temperature? I have 20,000 miles on mine, and I think I've had to open the full climate control panel 3 times? It's honestly not an issue at all in my experience.
      Is the screen occasionally slow? Yes. Can it do an amazing amount of things? Yes! Does it look pretty good? Yes, especially if you keep a soft cloth handy to keep dust and fingerprints to a minimum... Personally, I love the screen and it's benefits, even with the occasionally slow responses.

Subaru is choosing to invest in vehicles that are profitable and protects their shareholders. Eliminating a poor selling vehicle and investing that money in a high volume model is much more profitable for Subaru. Subaru knows that 7 out of 10 buyers want a truck or an suv. This move was expected from both buyers and shareholders. The Camry and Accord sales are bolstered heavily with fleet sales that are not profitable for manufacturers.
