Honestly, this is one of my favorite cod multiplayers. The visual recoil making ARs function like ARs and same with the other guns. It felt like a modernized OG cod because without the crazy movement it felt like your decisions in terms of positioning or gunfight strategy matter.
Everyone had some decent chance in combat so the average movement sweat wasn't immortal.

I tend to think that Vanguard was worse than MWII, still get chills.
Vanguard was amazing. Only thing good about MW2 was the ttk and ranked play

I don't know anymore mw2 didn't have custom classic in local multiplayer and vanguard has custom classes in local multiplayer

when this game was release, I recently just got surgery in my right hand, so for the next 3 moth all I did was go to physical therapy and play mw2. During that time, I came across your channel I was looking way to improve my game play and thanks to your weapon tuning and set up I did. Thanks Hummus.

I actually like MWII precisely because it is slow. I hate MWIII modern slide cancelling and 2019s stim fueled tryhards. In MWII makes me reminisce the old games like anything else. Cold War was fine and i still argue Vanguard is worse because of the supression mechanic but neither of them was as tactical as MWII. Move slow, take it slow, focus on aiming and position instead of jumping like a madman.

Honestly, an hour long video on the pros and cons of all the call of dutys with search and destroy would be lit. Like what was the best kill/scorestreak setup, how they balanced things. Which had the best feeling TTK etc. Basically what would be the best combo of features from all the call of dutys.

I really love this game. It definitely have its flaws, but I had a lot of fun in it, and I liked the maps.

I mean no cod game is really bad(except vanguard) but people expect things out of it but when they get something they want, they hate it and when activision doesn't listen, they hate it. I am convinced people don't know what they want from cod.
What made Modern Warfare II so controversial was the movement, it’s actually not a bad Call Of Duty since I believe people were disappointed from this because of MW2019 success and how great of a game that was.
I found a video where someone called MWII had the worst campaign and I burst out laughing because they have not played Black Ops III campaign. Usually people hate Call Of Duty because it’s a trend nowadays.

Never played this, but I can see why people were mad about MWIII given it looks almost exactly the same. I think at the end of the year they should just port all these MWII maps into III so we can just have an ultimate modern warfare with all the maps in one game. I know they won't, but a boy can dream.
The footsteps in this game are super loud and gives away your position very easily.

@@Mathnicheguy multiplayer isn’t supposed to have loud ass footsteps. Thats for Warzone. Sounds like you didn’t play prime cod. Mw19 is the game that introduced loud ass footsteps in multi. And every prime cod game had dead silence/ninja as a perk option.

It was the first cod game I bought in years so buyers remorse made me play this game a lot lol, first cod game I reached level 1000. Haven't played it in months but I do have some fond memories of it, wasn't that bad, nor good.

I loved the weapon grinding system it was fresh and it was so like the old days camo grinding but i was doing it for my lachmann sub trying to get all the attachments after

as a person that still plays DMZ regularly, I can say this game wasn't as bad as people say it was. It definitely has its problems, but all things considered, very fun game. Has some of the best graphics too in my opinion

Lowk I can’t lie I enjoyed this game a lot to the point got some nostalgia especially being faded or off the xans while jus playing, plus watching goblin vids with mw2 game play was hella lit
I love mw2. The sounds, maps, graphics and animations are amazing. I didn’t like the movement or perk system but I don’t think it ruined the game. I still play this and 2019 over any other cods.

I completely agree on most of what you said, the maps in mw2 were amazing, the gunplay was really fun and forgiving, the only really big downside was how slow everything was but that was pretty minor. The tuning system was okay, I didn't like having to do it so much but the ability to customize to whatever you needed on a gun was really cool and nice. I really don't know why people give mw2 so much shit, it was a great game

Mw2019 and mw3 are better than this the only thing they did well was the fancy animations and pretty visuals the gunplay was bad because of the flinch and horrible balancing

this game was the last best multiplayer that we've had since its release. Everything since then has been copy and paste and trash changes to gunplay and movement and ttk. This game paved the way for every shxt cod since its release...

MW2 being slower is why I enjoyed it. Not super fond of the break neck pace fans think they want (MW3). If you've moved onto games like Insurgency, or Battlefield or Battlebit on pc you probably appreciate the slower pace.
In hindsight, having played mw2 & now mw3 I deff see where movement was the issue for most in mw2.. its horrendous
That's the one thing I HATE about MW3 - the bullet hit / kill sounds! MW2 sounds were great but MW3 sounds like a cheap sci-fi game from the 80's Atari era. The MW3 sounds just take me out of the game and make the guns sound just too fake / ray-gun like to my ears. 🙄
