  • NOTE: My dish washer has a sterilize cycle. BUT actual True sterilization requires Time, Temperature and Pressure in the right amounts. Jelly do not require Pressure BUT know what to look for to tell you the contents of the jars should NOT be eaten.
1} the lid is not longer sealed. If you press down on the lid and it click up and down it is now longer sealed.
2} If there is mold or discoloration in the jelly.
    Stay safe!

I made a triple berry jam with friends last year, and ever since I've wanted to get into canning jams on my own. I had no idea the pectin came with a set of instructions, that's going to be super helpful for me. Thank you so much for making this video, I can't wait to start making some delicious jams!

So happy to see a vid from you! I love this one because it is just the right amount of jam for me...3 jars, instead of a whole canner full. But may I suggest you turn the jar lifter the other way round? The rounded side will grasp the jar rim firmly, and the rubber part will grip tighter to your hand. Excellent instructive video as always. Thank you!!
