Has anyone else experienced this? Let me know! Thanks for watching! Don't forget to like and subscribe!
no i dont have any issue with it
I work for a carrier and this was an issue with several models...only fix is to get it replaced. It's a software issue that caused the radio to stop working
I had the same issue with my S23 Ultra (T-Mobile branded version) and i was directed to take my phone to a Samsung repair facility. The facility couldnt fix the issue, so they called Samsung to inform them. Within 5 minutes, the repair facility replaced the phone for free on the spot! I have Samsung Care+ so i was thankful for it.
I upgraded to the S24 Ultra and bought 2 years of Samsung Care+ upfront.
I have very similar issues. My S24 Ultra is having issues with both physical and esim. Good luck and thx for the video.
Thank you, and I hope your issue gets resolved as well 👍
My S24U would randomly drop 1 or both e-sims, or randomly drop data. I got rid of it after dealing with it for 3 straight weeks.
I have that issue as well with my S23 ultra that I have, it only does it for a second or two, then it goes from sim card to no sim every so often, especially if I have a really bad cellular connection
My S24 Ultra has a RUclips bug. I have to go to settings, battery, background usage limits, and then add it in there. If I don't do that my phone will be running very hot for just five minutes of any activity on the phone. As long as RUclips is running in the background, my phone will be running unnecessarily hot when I try using it. Hopefully a software update will fix otherwise I have to stop it running in the background in which case I can't use one of my RUclips premium features, to cut the phone off while listening to the audio on RUclips.
I wanted to mention that my MetroPCS guy said that we don't need to use the SIM card anymore. They can just use the emi thing now.
Yes, as I mentioned in the video, I tried ESIM as well and it still doesn't work..
Maybe i missed it if you said it but did you try using the sim in another device specifically android? Or did you try another sim card from a different carrier? Who is your carrier? I had this happen with Verizon often. It was normally a provisioning issue.
Yes I mentioned in the video that I'll be using my OnePlus 12. The sim works just fine. It's a brand new SIM card as well. T-Mobile
I don't have that issue with my S24 Ultra.
Nice! That's good to hear👍
Same, mines fine
I have a weird pop up notification after I reboot my S24 Ultra & it has a physical SIM in it.
It'll show,
"Are you ready to connect to our Xfinity Mobile Service to start enjoying your new phone?"
I'm like, wtf? It's already working!
I also use Google Messenging & it'll not send messages until I reboot sometimes.
I never had these issues with my S22 Ultra.
Did you put it in right? Only one way to put it in really, metal part facing up with the screen of the phone (with cut outs to make it fit). Two holes next to each other. That's weird. This is my second day with the S24 Ultra, and there's no problems for me. Maybe a defective device? I've never heard of this before.
Yes there is only one way to put it in and it was put in right 👍 it might be defective
Hey Josh how can I get a light scratch off my s23 ultra screen?
Hmm.. I'm not really sure. But you can apply a whitestone dome glass screen protector that will completely hide it👍 Link in description if you want to try.
@@Josh_Quinonez You're right, the LOCA (Liquid Optically Clear Adhesive) glue which is used by Whitestone (and other brands) will completely fill in the scratch/gap and make it completely invisible, until you remove the glass protector again of course!
A tempered glass is a good idea anyway I'd say... 😎
I had a weird situation yesterday with my 24 ultra. It didn't charge overnight like it normally does. I had to restart the phone for it to start charging.
Hmm... That is really weird.. was it possibly not plugged in all the way?
Hi josh thanks for sharing your experience with us 👍👏👌😎
Of course!
Hey Josh, sorry to hear about your S24 Ultra. So since the s24 ultra has issues and is being fixed, why don't you just use the Oneplus 12 as your main phone permanently? I mean, it's an awesome phone and is better than Samsung with certain things in my opinion. I don't think you'll miss the Samsung to be honest.
I've been using the OnePlus 12 as my main phone for the past 3 weeks now since this has happened and my experience has been amazing. But if I'm being honest I still miss my S24 Ultra as well. For me it's easier to edit my videos and thumbnails using the s-pen on my S24 Ultra. I've also been using the S24 Ultra to record a lot of the videos here on the channel. When it was working properly I was enjoying switching back and forth between both phones because they are both great in my opinion 👍
The OP12 is an overall worse phone compared to the S24 Ultra. So I don't know what you are talking about.
@@franciscolodix1214: Could you be specific? Why its the worst?
@@franciscolodix1214 In what way is it an overall worse phone? Please elaborate.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention , sorry you had to go through this
Thanks. Yes it's a bummer but will soon hopefully be fixed
"I don't have a bad experience" but your mobile phone isn't a mobile phone unless your on wifi? That literally ruins the whole point of the experience of a "mobile phone".
I meant aside from my issue.
I had that issue a few times on my s24 ultra but i removed sim card and put it back in, and it started working.
That's good that you were able to get it to work.
I have been following up on both the S23 Ultra and the S24 Ultra and watching almost every RUclips I possibly can and I see that the S24 Ultra has had far more problems than the previous flagship.
One of the reasons I never felt compelled to upgrade to the latest one from my present S23 Ultra. The less vivid screen, the grainy screen, and the S-pen slightly protruding out when placed inside the phone etc are deal breakers for me. The S23 Ultra is the BEST Samsung phone I have ever used till date.
Hi Josh, thanks for sharing. I have issue watching RUclips short video. It's not playing.. been following whatever info on Google but didn't help. Guess have to live with it.
I wonder if that is a RUclips app issue? Sorry to hear that
I just ordered my S24 Ultra today. And I see this 😅 I have an esim. I hope I don't have this issue, lmao. Hope this issue gets resolved for you!
I'm sure you'll be good👍 Lol Thanks!
I don't have ( luckily)same issue with my s24 ultra so far ( my brother neither)
Mine drops Bluetooth audio with android auto for about 2 to 3 seconds and then comes back very annoying. Started after the last OneUI update.
bro I have same issue from Dubai S23 ultra this issue is in Indian sims... they are not working... Indian phones can run these sims
Yes, every million phones from any OEM will have defective units, as tech is like that, you can get bad ones. These days OEMs have reduced the defective ones to a very low level compared to 15 years ago with the problems LG had. Sounds like you were one of the unlucky ones. OEMs know this happens so should have a backup plan for warranty claims like yours and as long as there is no obvious signs of drops or water damage then. you should get a refurb.
Over the last few years my Samsung phones have been fine. My Pixels have caused me most problems, from dead pixels (Pixel 6P) on the display to the FP scanner stopping working (Pixel 7P).Both were sorted under warranty by Google. That warranty period specifically designed for these bad units. Good luck!
Exactly same here with my S24 Ultra, I get the network lost very frequently with my physical sims. Samsung is absolutely terrible in dealing with costumers.
This issue was nothing compared to the Titanium frame on the phone. After 2 weeks the black color on the side of the Titanium frame where it meets with the display started to pill off without any damages being made to the phone.
Samsung warranty, repair and that's it ,I've sent mines before to Samsung they repair it next day is home completely fixed, do it 👍
I had a SIM issue when I first got my phone. I went in and they replaced my SIM card. All good since then. Mostly. I've had to reset my mobile network a couple times when my texts stopped going through.
That's good that it got resolved. I wish mine was that easy.
@@Josh_Quinonez I hope you get it sorted soon. It's a great phone! Sounds like you got a defective device 🤔
Sup josh
My s24 ultra did the same thing. But I took it to the AT&T store replace the SIM card. It start back working again
Yeah unfortunately a new SIM card didn't work for me..
No issues here... Unlocked s24 ultra used on Verizon's network
Awesome!
I wonder if it could be from malware or a computer virus.
I haven't done anything that can cause a virus so I'm really not sure
Basically, your phone was useless, you had very good experience with them, lucky you, maybe they know you were a youtuber but Samsung does have a terrible customer service.
No they have no idea who I am. I had worked with two different customer service reps and they were both great for me.
That's why I went from s21 plus to a OnePlus 12 I hate Samsung phones it gave me too many issues I love my OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 11
I've never had any real issues with a Samsung device. This is the first time I've experienced something like this.
Seems like you have a defective device. Request a new device from Samsung.
Yes, if they can't fix it they will replace it.
I wouldn't request a new phone I would demand a new phone.
Prehaps the recent update caused this.
No this happened before the recent update. It was working for half the day then all of a sudden just stopped reading my SIM card.
The reason I don't get Samsung.
This isn't a known issue among all Samsung devices. This was just on my unit from what I know. I have never had any major problem with Samsung devices. Now that my device has been fixed it is working flawlessly
@@Josh_Quinonez How long it take you? To get your replacement I mean? The same day with a brand new one, or hours on phone passed to different departments, no call back etc. I know which, I've had the experience of it and will never use Samsung again due to it,
So, was it same day replacement or not?
@CarlWiganerUK Here you go I made a video talking about it👍

Why im keeping my s23 ultra my opinion i dont like s24 5x camera also dont like titanium or flatscreen im keeping my s23 ultra for awhile also i think s23 ultra takes better pictures then s24 ultra my friend has a s24 ultra seen his pics i was like my phone takes better and then my friend even agrees with me s23 takes better pics
The S23 Ultra is still a great phone! Especially now that it has all the same AI features👍
Does the s23 ultra come with the 7 years of software updates or only the s24 ultra?
Believe me..... The S23 Ultra is a better device. I regret trading in mine. The screen is superior on the S23 Ultra. I have proven that to the Samsung people and best buy people. Indoors, the S23 ultra can achive a brighter level than the S24 Ultra. Outdoors is a different story, but I use my phone indoors most of the time. Connectivity to wifi and cellular is better on the S23 Ultra.
@@glvnet I agree even my friend said s23 ultra has a bright screen inside and even has better signal
@@damianhbk1 Only the S24
SUP JOSH
Sup!
I’m sorry but does Samsung pay you? You can’t use your very expensive device (one of the most expensive devices) to its full potential. You called customer service, they sent you to an AUTHORIZED repair centre that couldn’t fix it. That right there should have been a “here’s another device, Josh” type moment. However, they’re sending you a box so you can send it in for two weeks. If they still can’t fix the device, they might send you a refurb? That in fact is not good customer service. It’s not like you damaged the phone. Someone would be getting yelled at if that were me.
It doesn't work like that nomore..we not in the early 2000s.
That's a interesting issue I also have a s24 ultra and have not yet experienced this issue and hope i don't run into it sorry you are having problems.
Yeah I don't think it is widespread. I probably just have a defective unit. Thanks
Hello. No Issues like this...
Cool phone 📱
Great content. Question. How would you handle sending in your phone if that's the only one you have, like I do🤔, can't afford to be without my phone.
Great question. Your mobile carrier can actually loan you a device while your personal device is being repaired. But you need to be sure to show them proof that your device is going to be getting repaired by Samsung.
@Josh_Quinonez thank you. If I ever had a problem, which I had with my note20 ultra, I went into T-MOBILE, and if there people couldn't fix it, they gave me a new one. The only other time I had a problem I called samsung, and since my phone was under the manufacturer warranty, I took a Pic of my phone using my wife's sent to them. They sent me a new phone and a return box for my old one. Fortunately I've never had to send in my phones.
I had that same issue with the S22U, and mine took about 9 days to get back.
I have a weak signal with my s24U and battey life seems low 6 to 7 hours SOT
.
That's a bummer. Sorry to hear about that.
Switch to 4g instead of 5g and I will save more battery and there's no compromise
@@wheelyflacThere is no option to change to 4g on the s24 ultra...it switches to 4g automatically when needed
@@Rammer_Jammer ohh that's .. not good
It’s great that you have another phone to fall back on but for everyone else this process sucks!! Have to send the phone back and be without a phone for 2 weeks until they decide to send another out. Not good enough. That could’ve sent you a replacement cheaper model to use in the meantime. They make the best phones but their support is crap.
That's clearly a malfunction within the device itself. N I don't think that Samsung is being very nice. When they couldn't get it fixed with you over the phone, they should've done a warranty exchange right then & their. They're making you go through changes by even having you go to a repair shop. It's a brand new device, so it should simply be exchanged for a brand new replacement device or given a refund no questions asked. They shouldn't have you going through multiple steps when the problem is clearly on their end. I have insurance through my carrier & have never been run in circles like this with any issues/problems I've had in the past.
I’ve had every note up into the note 20 ultra of which had a screen issue with the phone. Samsung gave me the total runaround even though it was a known problem that had many RUclips videos about the screen just blacking out and they refused to acknowledge it so as much as I would like to upgrade to this 24, I can’t support Sam anymore.
i had a fold 4 and my warranty experience after my hinge failed was so bad that i will never use Samsung again, ive gone back to Apple.
If it's a refurbished device, ask for a full refund in order to buy a new one. Problem solved.
my s24ultra seems fine although i wish they would make it run as smooth as my zfold 5.
i didnt faced a similar issue but mine had a manufacturing defect(screen bubble in btw touch panel and armor glass) which i noticed the next day after purchase as when i bought the phone was involved in backup n data n setup n all, But thankfully it got replaced with a new one.
That's awesome that you were able to get it replaced 👍
I don't have this issue with my phone. A month ago i had a usb c issue, while i don't have a cable in my phone, still the phone thinks there is a cable usb c linked...
Hmm.. that's odd. Did you get a lot of water in the port?
I have the same problem
I'm so glad I didn't "upgrade" from my S23 Ultra to the S24 Ultra.
The S23 Ultra is still a beast 💪
Wow, 3 weeks without a phone. You must really want that phone repaired as when my pixel phone had a similar issue they shipped one out to replace it.
Yea they need to try and repair it before just shipping me a new one. They can't send a replacement unless they see themselves that it is unrepairable. As I mentioned I still have my OnePlus12 so I won't be hurting too much
@@Josh_Quinonez what would happen if someone didn't have a spare phone kicking around? They should just replace the phone and have a pending charge on a credit card until they get it back.. The phone is defective... that should be Samsung's problem... not yours.. t
If that were the case then your mobile carrier would be able to loan you a device while your phone is getting repaired by Samsung. You just need to show them proof that you will be sending your phone to Samsung for repair.
Yep I have a similar problem with my S22 Ultra, not the same but close. I have replaced 3 SIM cards & it seemed to fix problem after each replace but the last time it didn’t fix it. I have no service unless it is good 5G.
