The part where scene sticks to him, can be done with Red Giant "Knoll" plugin. Not sure if It's included in Knoll Light factory. The effect is called Unmulting, I believe you can mask where you want the effect. So where you add Umult, Creates a double exposure, if you have a clip underneath. You don't even need to watch 15 minutes of tutorials to do double exposure in video with unmult. Keep in mind the premiere version doesn't seem to work well. But if you replace clips to after effects then mask what you want to unmult then it will do so. Also you can mess around with blending modes for cooler look. Hope that helps!

you could just use an adjustment layer and add transform to it so you don´t have to move every single clip manually. you just drag everything below the adjustmentlayer and it will zoom and move with it.

i belive that the first effect you talked about isnt data moshing. my theory is that they kinda do the same thing as when you use face swap filters on snapchat. Like there is layer tracked onto rocky´s surface making it kinda 3D and it looks way more softer than data moshing like in yamborgini high
I always watch ur videos, and are great for teaching, but i wonder in this video why yo didn't use the "camera" in after effects to do the zoom in/out transitions, i feel like that is the best way to do it, more than using scale manually. But both ways are valid ways to do the effect, but i think if you try to play with the camera in AE yo will get nice flow between the zoom in/out transitions. Thanks for teaching always by the way.

No, it’s easier to do scale. The reason being the motion blur, when you start using cameras it complicates things if you want certain things blurred and others not blurred
for tracking which is the better method, using the null object one which you did in this video, or just using track mask like you did in the Praise the lord video.
