The game has a lot of dark tones, this music fits it like a glove, it's very emotional the whole way through, in the cutscenes you forget it's all a game sometimes, clara seems nice and helpful, jordi looks out for himself but he's funny as hell, aiden never lets go and it drags people down with him, and i could go on about the rest of the characters too. Hearing this after almost 10 years brings back memories. I was 6 going on 7 when this game came out. Picked it up on the Xbox 360 with my dad at Walmart. Im 16 and in highschool now still loving this game! The nostalgia 🥺😭
this game was so ahead of its time tho. especially from what i remember 2014 was a really good year and there was a lot of good vibes and then this game came out which didnt fit the year but thats a good thing.
I remember trying 2 maybe around launch time and not really finishing it because i was in a relationship, well time passed and the ps5 came out with legion and that didn't really stick with me. Just a week ago i bought Watch dogs 1 and 2 in a bundle for 11$ and have been playing through watch dogs 1 and loving every second of it. From the hacking, to the stealth espionage or balls out to the wall gun fights with explosions. so far made it to act 4 or 5 right now and i plan to finish this but also am taking my time with how beautiful this game can look at times and how well the story has been playing out. Some areas of the maps, the map design, the npc histories all just ties in pretty dang good. Ubisoft generally gets shit on for many reasons but one thing i learned to love about them is their world building and this game really shows that.
I just got it on ps extra, I played it when it first came out and I loved it. Going back playing it now the game is still insanely beautiful, the gameplay is solid and the story is elite
I remember when this game came out when I was a kid. Funny thing is I always played and never seen or gotten the ending. But now since I'm 17 I think it's about time I beat the game I always loved as a kid
Yeah Clara's death was heart breaking. You can tell in the cutscene that Aidan really appreciated her and cared a lot about her. He didn't care for her romantically, but he saw her as an ally, and an equal. He lost another member of his family when she died, and it really hurt him
honestly i agree. legion was hardly enjoyable for me for a few reasons, it just does not fit in what it is meant to be and deserves. i wish ubisoft montreal would have continued the production.
@@Spardrak idk I think it just fucking sucks. The gameplay is very mediocre, everybody sounds the same, for a game all about the city and people in it feeling alive and unique it does a terrible job at it, story was kinda bland. I'll admit, the beginning was really cool but then it started being rinse and repeat. Bloodlines story on the other hand was really dope.
The Bloodline DLC turned it around for me. It's what the main story should of been. *(Fight back.. Easy to say, Hard to do. Maybe i'm just what this city needs. Are you ready for me London?)*
The first watch dogs will hold a special place for me, the second while fun it was not as good story wise and being set in California didn't help since that state as been done to death in games and It also wasn't as dark which for me killed the realism because how overly goofy and corny it was at times. Aiden Pearce's story and the chicago setting felt so much more impactful because of how he was constantly surrounded by tragedy and proved while he was a capable criminal he wasn't invincible. This theme for me captures all those feelings of suspense, action, gloom, vengeance and some cases even depression that the second game just didn't have. I understand the second game was going for lighter/fun vibe but that in my opinion killed it because of the impression the first game left with me. The darker vibe in my opinion just worked better for the hacker/mercenary theme because of how dangerous it made that part of the criminal underworld feel. While I did like Marcus, Aiden (while nothing new) was just a better character to me and as someone who's lost a lot of close friends and family, his quest for answers is very relatable.
just one off the best main menu themes and menus in general i seen in a game the electric vibe and depressing tone off the theme and the back images just chefs kiss never get tired off coming back to the game just for the theme in general however made the music is a genious
The best game ever made for me. Ive replayed it 8 times in 2 years because i mostly hacked some stuff around chicago, rode around with the cars and maybe shoot some people, but props to ubisoft for making this game
watch dogs is so underrated, the atmosphere and story is insane, I miss that feeling walking around chicago alone that matches the aesthetic and vibe of the game
My first WD was the 2nd one...didn't like the whole cool kids vibe, I got so bored by it that I never finished it. Played the 3rd one and loved it...then I played the Aiden DLC and was intrigued about this man. Played the 1st one and now it's one of my all time favorite games. Might play the 2nd one after I beat WD1 to see if I like it better. One thing I like about the 1st one is that Aiden is not afraid to kill and embraces it. In the 2nd one that guy doesn't look, talk or feels like a killer so it felt off to kill people and use real weapons. At least WD3 made it fun not to kill people.
2 is the most fun but once you run outta things to do (which trust me you will) the game becomes so stale. Even after you run outta things to do in the first one the game still feels fresh
My favourite is when he expresses how he feels about avenging Lena. It wasnt the typical "i dont feel different" cliche. Saying how he can finally breathe, feeling the weight lift off his shoulders sounds much better.
-Tienes que creerme tio -QUIEN DIO LA ORDEN? -Vamos tio, ya te lo he dicho, no lo se -No lo sabes "A por la familia?" "Es un problema?" "No, les dare un buen susto. No volveras a oir hablar de ellos". -A TI QUE TE PARECE MAURICE? ME ASUSTASTE? -No me dijeron que habria crios, eso no tenia que pasar. -Quiero que lo pienses detenidamente, piensa. VAmos tio, aunque supiera su nombre no te lo diria. He oido.... hablar de estos tios, nunca has visto nada parecido. YO QUE TU LO DEJABA TIO. -Hay cosas que no se pueden dejar...............
This looked real back in 2014, every single shot looked like it was taken from a film camera and difficult to believe it's a videogame. So much has changed now but the game still looks really good, though not as realistic as other titles that have come, but somehow more realistic than Watch Dogs 2 and Legions. Wonder why.
I know, I still get blown away by that shot of Aiden holding the guy at gun point in the rain, or the first shot of him lifting up the face mask. It looked like snippets of some HBO show begging to be explored. This game drips atmosphere and I love how much attention is paid to it in this game.

Hearing this after almost 10 years brings back memories. I was 6 going on 7 when this game came out. Picked it up on the Xbox 360 with my dad at Walmart. Im 16 and in highschool now still loving this game! The nostalgia 🥺😭
i’m glad this game is getting the attention it deserves, played it back in 2018 and it’s still one of the best games i’ve played
Still better than 2 and legion
this game was so ahead of its time tho. especially from what i remember 2014 was a really good year and there was a lot of good vibes and then this game came out which didnt fit the year but thats a good thing.
So sad how the hacker woman dies in this game, that's what hit me the most😢
Rip Clara
Yeah Clara's death was heart breaking. You can tell in the cutscene that Aidan really appreciated her and cared a lot about her. He didn't care for her romantically, but he saw her as an ally, and an equal. He lost another member of his family when she died, and it really hurt him
It’s a shame how far legion has fallen from this. Sure WD2 had a different tone, but it was still on par with WD1. Legion on the other hand just sucks
honestly i agree. legion was hardly enjoyable for me for a few reasons, it just does not fit in what it is meant to be and deserves. i wish ubisoft montreal would have continued the production.
I played Legion personally, it's not the best Watch Dogs but it's not that "bad" like everyone one says...
I like Legion, it's really fun and you can make it into whatever you choose by recruiting specific people.
This game has the best main menu and menu theme
While I did like Marcus, Aiden (while nothing new) was just a better character to me and as someone who's lost a lot of close friends and family, his quest for answers is very relatable.
just one off the best main menu themes and menus in general i seen in a game the electric vibe and depressing tone off the theme and the back images just chefs kiss never get tired off coming back to the game just for the theme in general however made the music is a genious
i wish this game was still popular..
It’s 8 years old, and it’s very rare for a game of that age to become popular nowadays, only GTA 5
And yet they still Milking that game.. feel bad for GTA V.
@@MrClean-lk6vi once GTA 6 releases, GTA 5 can finally rest
Just finished 2 earlier today and my god what a step down in almost every way....I can't think of anything that 2 does better than 1 really
"Yeah I'll tell you a name...
Lena... Lena Pearce..."
That line gives me chills
My favourite is when he expresses how he feels about avenging Lena. It wasnt the typical "i dont feel different" cliche. Saying how he can finally breathe, feeling the weight lift off his shoulders sounds much better.
This gives me driv3r menu vibes from the ps2 days. I like emotion in the menus...its hard to explain it just makes me feel somthing.
Aidens story is sad but he ultimately knew what he done couldn’t be fixed, only thing he can do is search for answers

The Dark Side of Chicago
Anyone else think it's criminal that the biggest portion of the BEST music in this game is UNRELEASED!?!?
This is so good for focus and studing (especiely IT).
Saudades do jogo, eu amava essa música do menu
Man i really need to play this game again
yep me too will be my 4th playthrough
Ah my 46 times of playing the game and I'm still restarting over and over till today on of my favorite of all time 2 and legion I played only once and I'm excited to get bad blood on legion just for Aiden
You have no clue how hard I've searched for the Bad Blood DLC on my Xbox 360.
@@alext3041 sry I meant bloodline on legion 😅 and yea bad blood it's amazing I got it on watch dogs complete edition Xbox one
@@x-angellovesnow-x974 what a nice profile picture, did you draw that? I'm genuinely curious.

eye candy, this is how most main menu screens should be.
The nostalgia man, the nostalgia. Something I doubt will ever be able to be replicated
0:09 so fking sexy ah the memories, cool and badass character
this one and the one from wd2 were the most awsome menu's, and then watch dogs legion came '_'
Many People Hate This Game. I Personally Loved It, It Has Nothing To Do With The Garbage Called "Watch Dogs Legion"
This has the best video,
Watch dogs 2 has the best music
And then there's legion
damn i miss this game, my first game to get 100% on my ps3.
I remember in 2017 this game came out on xbox gold and i fell in love with it watch dog is my favorite to this day as well watch dogs 2
*Still here 2024*
better than gtav for me
First was Great
Second was Nice
Third was . . .
Disappointing
@@alext3041 true
First was great
Second was pretty awesome
Third was way too dissapointing
(My opinion)
@@raulmerschansoto1172 I finally got to play Legion after all this time, and I gotta say: it's the most disappointing game I've seen so far. It kind of has a mixed tone between 1 and 2 though in a bad way. The combat isn't that bad, but the parkour is a complete disaster (you glitch in every wall when trying to run towards it, and you can't even vault most walls)
Yea,it's cool!
For me who play this game 7 years ago, it fucking nostalgia! My father like this game and me! I don't know why people don't like this game.
They said:eww, so dark, she not funny and very serious.
But creators heard that.
They made WD2. And now people say:bruh, this game so not seriously, it's not a game, she too funny!
Why people hate WD? I think 1part was better(I play WD2, too)
But WD2 too good.
I like theme music of WD1.
Creators, thanks for cool games, nostalgia and theme music!
And thank to author of this video!
For he don't forget this game, after years!!!
Bye!
#Watchdogsnostalgia
I can’t believe how good the first game was honestly. Haven’t played the sequel cause the opinions are mixed but so needs it when the first is so replayable.
The sequel is better than legion
10 years!
1:16 favorite part
coolest ubisoft game ever made . has that raw edge that assassins creed had in the beginning
2:37 slaps
One of my all time fav games ❤ LOVED the dark mystery story !!
man i just finished this game last week, when this came out i was 10 and i wasn't looking for watch dogs, i was a kid just playing assasins creed--
The Watch Dogs menu goes so hard
Man good times.
Waiting for your next video
Haha, it's coming today!
Nostalgia(
first watch dogs gives the real hacker atmosphere, dark and excellent story not like 2 some teen internet nonsense
Watch Dogs Legion was a good step in the right direction imo. Especially with Aiden being back
Do watch dogs 2 menu theme like this please 🙏
WATCH DOGS 1 SOUNDTRACK MAIN MENU V2"5 2021)😃😃
watch dogs 2 main menu: YAY 😀 LOOK AT THIS COOL SHIT
watch dogs 1 main menu: … well this
Watch_Dogs 1 is still my favorite edgy game tbh, Aiden actually has motives in this game and isnt just an insane killing machine for no reason, even if he was a little crazy
The best
Great game
shame they never made a sequel
Atleast we still have the short spinoff game "bloodlines"
"Heroes have braveness, Vilains have motivations."
After this game, I fell in love with Chicago. The main dream of my life is to visit this city.
To me the story and aesthetic of this game would’ve made for a killer movie or limited series but I still had fun with the game regardless
I definitely prefer the game because I can explore freely and not limited to what the directors want us to see
There is a series kinda like this. It's called Person of Interest. It's got a great back story. You should check it out if you can.
i hope they make a watch dogs 3,have it be something along the lines of the aftermath of WD 1,where Aiden is now being targeted by almost everyone
I guess WD3 is legion. They have a dlc with old Aiden. the main legion story kinda sucks, but bloodline isn't that bad though
The Hitman 2 Music And Watch dogs 1 Gave me the greatest Chill vibe when opening a games
felt like im in cinematic action epico nothing will replaces the hitman 2 and watch dogs 1 atmospheire Games and No Game ever Replace this Masterpiece Im gonna replay this masterpiece again after 5 times playing both greatest music soundtracks Atmospheire games ever
Can you please tell me how did you extract the clean menu video? Or did you use a mod to remove the menu buttons?
I found some HD footage of it online, then edited it. I don't actually have the game on PC, only on Xbox 360.
Is it me or im just the only one who loves the music and the sequences
