I’m still watching. I’m probably a bit old to watch ,😂 ( late 40s) my daughter has always watched you and Zoe and then I became a fan. My small decision that I made was letting my indoor cat outside, it got into next doors garden who was a new neighbour and I had to go round to see if he could get my cat back. Long story short, we were both single and 14 years later we’re still together ❤
Your story reminds me a lot like my own small spontaneous decision with the biggest impact.
When I was 15 I was at a local music event. Half an houre before I had to go home I bumped into a cute guy. I was kind of a shy girl and it was so unlike me but just before my parents picked me up I took his cell phone and wrote down my number.
The next day we chatted for hours (the good old MSN days), a week later we kissed and next month we’ll be togheter for 23 years and to this day I’m so incredibly glad that I did that.

One (kinda) small thing that changed my life: in 2019 I was working a job that I felt stuck in and wasn’t where I wanted to be. I then one day had a freak accident on a trip that left me with a fractured vertebrae (100% healed now) However, I had to quit that job to recover and whilst recovering I started the small business that I am currently still running and and am 100x more happy in my life doing! ❤️
I saw an advert for a trek in Cambodia for MacMillan in a paper and decided to sign up, I called the local paper to do a story and my now husband and father to our girls answered and the rest is history!
One little thing that changed my life was me deciding 2 weeks before a trip to NZ to see some family that I didn't want to say goodbye to my aunty who was sick, so with 2 weeks notice decided I wasn't going to take my flight back home. My aunty ended up having terminal cancer so I stayed until she passed away and by then had made such a great life for myself in NZ I decided to stick around. Its now been 6.5 years, I've gotten a degree here and have never looked back
One little thing that changed my life was me deciding to go to the airport to see a guy I dated who came home from being 2 years away, to meeting his best friend. I ended up dating and marrying his best friend. My husband is exactly like my father, who passed away 3 months before I met him.

My one small decision that changed my life: 7 years ago I visited my step sisters in Australia and reconnected with a childhood friend I used tk have a crush on (my brothers best friend). I dropped out of university, and reinstated my permanent residency in Australia and NEVER WENT HOME! 😅😂 Sometimes you gotta just take a leap of faith ❤

The most comforting watches. Sunday morning, me (24) and Baby boy (17 months) both cuddled up in pjs on the sofa, cup of tea and ready to watch! Changed from me being 11/12 and watching your channel grow in my childhoood bedroom! It’s been amazing because I feel like your content has perfectly changed as I’ve grown up meaning it’s always been what I’ve wanted to watch! Xx

I've been watching both you and Zoe for years. I have to say, it is seriously so so cool to see the two of you be such engaging parents to all of Ottie's interests and energy. It's so wonderful to see!
For me it was about a year & a half ago, at the time I’d been an estate agent for 12 years (since I was 18) and I HATED it but I was good at it and it was all I knew so I stuck at it, worked my way up etc. I was scrolling FB one day & noticed that my local travel agent was advertising for a job, had the usual “at least 1 year travel experience required” so I wouldn’t usually have bothered applying, but I think I’d had a particular bad day at work and thought “sod it what’s the worst that could happen, they say no” so I went for it, smashed my interview and got the job - I’ve been there a year and a half now and I LOVE it, finally happy in my work which means I’m happier at home, I’ve made some amazing friends and getting to travel as part of my job is a huge bonus! If you’re thinking “I’m not gonna bother applying for that job cos I have no experience, I won’t get it, etc etc - just do it! You never know!

Stumbled across Zoe’s old hair tutorials back in the day; the milkmaid braid if i remember correctly! I was 10, just leaving year 6 and now I’ve just turned 21! Literally grown up with you both and you are still my comfort RUclipsrs. Continue what you’re doing as I love seeing your little family grow 🤍
I'm still watching! The change in my life happened when i met my now husband. I was in a very bad place in my life, i was lying,stealing,complaining and just feeling like a big time loser. He walked in at work one day and i fell in love. I couldn't go up to him and talk because i felt he was out of my range. he would never talk to a loser like me. A friend hooked us up one day at lunch and we hit it off. I stopped all of my bad habiats and the rest is history! I sometimes feel like a loser, but he reminds me every day that i have worth and value. He is the reason i changed for good why i get up in the morning and why i keep going.

I am Canadian, and on a whim in 2019 decided to move to London. A month after I moved I was scrolling on Hinge and ended up making the first move towards my now husband. What’s even funnier is the only reason I was in his hinge radius was because he was working at a different office that day. If it wasn’t for that, we would never have met and married!
I’ve watched your videos since 2012 (how bloody fast does the time go by 🤯) and they have brought me so much comfort and positivity through so many different times in my life. Thank you Alfie, truly. And my FutureSelf mystery package couldn’t be delivered yesterday so I can’t wait to pick it up at the post office tomorrow and see what I got 🥳 hope you and everyone reading this have the best Sunday 🙌

one little thing that changed my life... i never used to go out or meet up with friends etc because of my anxiety but one random sunny day my friend invited out to chill with his friends and that day i met people who are now my dearest friends in the world and the love of my life who i am still with to this day. they saved my life literally and i can proudly say they will one day be in my wedding party, aunties/uncles to my children and family for LIFE. all because i left the house socially for the first time in months. so cute to see how youve grown together over the years

I never normally get to a new video this early because of time difference (it's nearly 5pm, Sunday, here in Aus right now, so I'd normally be busy and not online watching videos). But I currently have a migraine attack and was seeking distraction - doesn't get better than an Alfie vlog 🙌😄
There's so often a silver lining to crappy situations. I'm in immense pain, but now I get a momentary, joyful break from thinking about it while I watch this video.

About 3 years ago I took a random summer job at a library, an now I've moved 2500 miles away from home for graduate school, met a bunch of cool people, and have never been happier ☀️
One thing that changed my life was going to uni, it’s small but I was a very introverted and shy girl and going to uni made me independent, grew my confidence and it’s where I started my RUclips channel which has now become my favourite hobby ❤

My life changing decision was a last minute girls holiday after deciding I wanted to be single and definitely had no intention of meeting anybody.
I met my husband and father to my 2 beautiful children in ibiza …. It was that love at first sight for us both. Never looked back. We never know what our decisions in life lead us to.
I love hearing about how you and Zoe started talking, I don’t think I have any stories that stand out just yet but hopefully someday I can come back to this comment and be like “well how little did I know eh?”
I took a job in a big city and working in the city has helped so much with my anxiety. Realizing that trying something new isn’t as scary as the anxiety says it is. Really helped to open my eyes in trying new things!

Ive got into running over the last couple of years and definitely one of the best bits of advice is how important easy runs are - making sure to not go too fast! Upping your distances at conversational pace and only doing the odd speedy run in the week - but mainly running at an easy pace! Will be slow to begin with but it will get quicker as your cardio increases :)
I didn’t get what I thought was my dream job, a week later went as supply in a school that I had turned down the week before… fast forward 5 years and I am now married and have a son with the person who showed me around that school on my first day there! Everything does happen for a reason.

I booked my first ever solo holiday, he worked where I stayed and I met him on my first full day and he took me out that evening and from there we were inseparable! I moved to Greece to live with him 3 months later and fast forward two years we have a son!! I could have booked any country of any hotel but I booked that one place I’d never stayed before and the stars clearly aligned!
Still watching. The determination in you for your run was so good, i torment yourself whilst spinning in the same way, then you hit a stage where you could keep going…. Amazing feeling🎉

11 years ago i decided to sit down next to my now roomate and best friend in class. We had been in the same class for a year and had never really spoken before. I saw that she had drawn a little pug on her notebook and told her it looked like the pug of youtubers i really liked. And it was indeed Nala, she was watching your guy's videos as well, which wasn't the most common thing since we're French and your videos were in English. Fast forward 11 years and we live together and she is my closest friend. So thanks to your videos and that decision to sit down next to her that day, i became friends with her !
I always think about how a series of decisions led me to my partner. I was living in Japan teaching English and I had planned to stay there indefinitely after learning Japanese for 6 years. I ended up having to come back to Scotland after just 8 months (a series of bad events happened - broke my foot, my mum was in hospital needing brain scans and my grandad died). I came back, got accepted into a postgraduate in teaching and just happened to be browsing tinder one evening in my student accommodation. I wasn’t really looking for anything, just killing time. Swiped on a guy and we chatted at first about gogglebox on and off. A few weeks later the pandemic hit and with nothing else to do, we ended up chatting more. After 3 months of talking for hours on the phone, we met for a socially distanced walk. Fast forward to now - I’m a primary teacher, engaged to that guy I was chatting with about gogglebox and we have a 3 month old daughter and two cats. It was originally my plan to move back to Japan after I got my postgraduate degree so I could teach in an international school - but instead I decided to stay in Scotland for my partner.
You have no idea how much I needed this video this weekend. Thankyou.
I‘m still watching! How could I not? Loved this vlog as always- it‘s so comforting and relaxing and I love how you think about everything in life and how you and Zoe are as a couple, as a team and as parents.

Back story- I qualified as a respiratory nurse on March 2020. It was a scary time. One day, I was moved down to A&E because they were short, and because I loved it, I took the risk and booked another shift (a bank shift). That day, I met my now husband (he's a nurse too), and I'm just starting as a clinical sister there. (Wild to think about).
Still watching! I've had a few small decisions; I sent my cv into virgin express Airlines when I was bored at 18 years old working in a restaurant in ireland - 24 years later, after a 20 year airline career, still living in England and married with two children. The other big one was to help a guy out applying for an airline because he was the brother of one of my house mates, we clicked, and 20 years, 2 kids and a dog later, I'm the happiest I've ever been

just fyi, instead of doing 8 or 12k on that 4k loop, to make it 10, do it twice in one direction, then get 1/4 way through the loop [ie, 1k into it] and turn around back home :)

My small decision is I was living in a roomate situation that wasnt really great but I didnt have the means to change rooms yet. I found out through an instagram story that a mutual friend of my friends lived in the same building so I sent a message hoping to connect with her fast forward 3 years we now have been living together for 3 years moved into a house and co own my childhood dog- wouldnt have changed it for the world

The one decision that changed my life forever is similar to yours really. I swiped right on my boyfriend on tinder even though he didn't have a bio (something that I always swiped left on) and he only had one picture. But I thought hey, he looks cute so why not? 4 years later, we live together and just got a puppy. I'm glad I decided to make a no bio exception for him 😊

Same 4 hour flight, my seat in 3 a- him in the back in 20 b. Turned arround, watching the crowed, I noticed that handsome guy making eyecontact with me. Made a decision- waved him to me and have him seated next to me.
We told eachother from now on- that was 4 hours in heaven. Fell in love- 14 years married, 2 lovely boys.
