Lightroom is the factory and Photoshop is the workshop. LR is in competition with other good camera raw editors. But LR + PS is unbeatable.
I edit almost all my images in LR. PS is used when I need to fix something or as a finishing touch for prints.

I like to think of Photoshop as the best "plug-in" for Lightroom. Everyday basic photo processing can be done in Lightroom, but every once in a while, you need some extra tools for unique situations. Cheers!

I wouldn't wanna miss any of the programs anymore 😍. I love that I can organize my pictures and give them a first colorlook that fits my style. And then I go to Photoshop to do the full edit. They just work so well together 🤗

I started using photoshop first and when I later tried to edit with Lightroom I found it so hard and complicated 😅 I think I was just more used to Photoshop. I find it really hard to edit without layers… I’ve been getting more used to Lightroom now though and do find it easier when I have a lot more photos.

You should have a course for those of us who aren't afraid of Photoshop and know enough to get into trouble, LOL. Yes, Ctrl Z is my favorite shortcut.

For me, the basic workflow would be to do the majority of all your basic editing in Lightroom and ONLY when you hit a brick wall in terms of what Lightroom can't do (in terms of removing objects or people for example), you would send the photo to Photoshop to do it, and then send it back to Lightroom.

I think one of the biggest things is that Lightroom is a non-destructive editor.

Very informative! Thank you! Hey ,btw as you’re an Adobe Wiz, I was wondering if that’s what you use to edit your videos? I’m getting into creating different types of content and I’m learning everything from scratch and your videos are what’s helped me the most! Thank you!

Yes, I started with lightroom, it has less options and it made it less complicated for me. Lately, however, I found myself in the need of erasing things in my photos, and lightroom was not enough. So I have started using photoshop, but I only know the very basics...

I prefer using photoshop camera raw😎 could never get over the user interface of lightroom classic. I do also use lightroom cc.
