What is your favorite graphic design setup or graphic design gadget that you feel every graphic designer needs? I would love you to tell me what you use in the comments:
Here is my ideal list as both a tech enthusiast and a designer 1) Graphics Tablet 2) Custom PC (often cheaper and can be spec’d to be way more powerful than a prebuilt) 3) a good chair (take care of your back) 4) streamdeck (for macro shortcuts and quick bookmarks and file navigation) 5) multiple monitors (hands down the biggest boost in productivity you can have) Honorable mentions 1) iPad & Apple Pencil 2) color calibration tools 3) NAS backup Also, I don’t know how you Mac people do it. It feels like a slog every time I’m forced to use the OS. I couldn’t imagine switching to an OS without snapping or PowerToys. Though as a tech enthusiast I do admit their hardware is aestheticly sexy. Love their other products, but their desktop OS just isn’t for me.
Thank for all your awesome tips! I feel the same about PCs being impossible to navigate and that’s why there is the PC people and the Apple people. I love your RUclips name because my son is obsessed with Legos.
Here is some data I found from pocketnow.com: Modern AMOLED displays provide better viewing angles, surpassing IPS. ... However, since AMOLED is more difficult to produce than IPS, costs are higher and images aren't quite as sharp. Since each “dot” is essentially its own colored light in an AMOLED display, colors are better and contrast is great!
I have learn a lot from you just watching your tutorial youtubes. Alrhough I only have PC. I watch other video like yours but you explain much easier to learn. Looking forward to more branding step by step designs. More Power❤👍
I hear that tablets make designing much easier from many people. However, I've always been comfortable with a mouse. Therefore, I have never used one or own one (at the moment) but it is a goal to get one sometime this year. Would you be up to making a video on the basics of what you can do with a tablet and how to use it when designing? Thank you :) PS: Apple ftw!
You’re in luck because I actually recently made one. I definitely encourage you to use a tablet over a mouse but you can see more in this video here: ruclips.net/video/6A_PJp4jsDU/видео.html
100% yes get a good quality Chair. I use a $500 ZQ gaming seat. Add to this a list a stress/massage ball to prevent RSI... which we will all experience at some point!
Oh nice on the gaming chair! Those are amazing. And good point on the stress ball. We could also get into the importance of exercise and moving about during the day!
Few days ago, started watching your channel. Consuming all your videos now😁😁 thanks a ton for providing such an awesome and unique content. Thanks a lot,
@@4TheCreatives thank you, I still have doubts remaining for color theory, most of the youtube rs just tell about the color harmonies but don't tell how to actually get colors and use them in design. I would appreciate if you make a small video on this one:)
@@aahritya_tv Sure and makes total sense. I like to draw from nature. Or images that I have in a mood board. In this video, I have a little clip about this (not in any detail) here if you want to look: ruclips.net/video/Dirdwx4uZo4/видео.html
Good info on tools of the trade. I would also recommend considering SSD (solid state) external drives. Much faster, longer lasting, and more durable than standard HDD drives. You can see a comparison here: storables.com/data-storage/is-it-worth-buying-ssd-external-hard-drive/
@@4TheCreatives to save money you can always buy the ssd and an external enclosure for it separately. Also if the enclosure is ever damaged your data is still safe and you can just swap the drive into a new case. The likelihood of you losing data from dropping the drive is greatly reduced compared to a spinning disk drive so it’s well worth the slight increase in cost.

I would say a powerful computer.

is it very important to have an amoled screen for colour accuracy?

Thanks so much for this Janette! ❤️
Can we use a chromebook or a phone as a beginner in this field??
I’ve never tried this.

All important things that no-one talks about! There's an idea for you: "design health" for desk-bound freelancers with no time for exercise.
Very good point!

Good data for sure, but it is a bit more pricey.
