Update on Ironwill (Oct 13th, 2021). I fought against Ironwill as Dark Samus and the battle was wonderful. After a back and forth of great effort, I got the upper hand just in time. Ironwill has retired King K Rool and has begun training with Bowser. He is just as strong if not stronger than he was against Alpharad on that day. I wish I was able to rematch him. He’s a great guy with a heart of gold and a true iron will

I feel like rage quits should give the person who didn't leave two times the amount of points and take away two times the amount from the rage quitter
I think the reason it doesnt take away any points is in case someone crashes, cuz it might not be their fault if they leave. But I think it should be a different thing, where if you hit the quit button it makes you loose points, but if you dont then it doesnt do anything.

@@ozone005 Yea. Having the difference be if you hit the quit button or not would probably be good because it would be really inconvenient to turn off your switch and get all the way back to elite smash again. So people probably wouldnt do it as much.
It actually does take away about double, it just doesn't show it for the other players. If you quit out of an online game and check your gsp you'll see that it's lower.
@@CrazyNaturekitty that could actually work, I think splatoon does a similar thing, while it counts as a loss either way, you're only locked out of playing for 10 minutes if either you quit or the internet issue is on your end, as opposed to it being a server issue

The fact that you don't get GSP when someone disconnects, is probably the most archaic and self-aware thing that Nintendo could do to acknowledge that their online is garbage.

I don't experience much problems online. The game lags a little, but nothing game breaking has happened yet.

I just fought against Ironwill, playing as Rob. He had the same name spelling and logo, plus he mashed side, down, and neutral B with his Rob, so he played like him too. He must have gotten K-rool into elite smash. I’m very glad that I just found him randomly online, and I got to hit him with an "Our cause is just" after the battle. It's such an honor as an Alpharad fan to meet such a legend. (6/21/22)

I do think Jacob’s biggest weakness in this game is his cockiness. I feel like that’s what keeps him being a relatively average competitive/items player, every time he does alright he acts like he’s invincible. He’s like the real life Pit: mid tier with an Icarus complex
