I remember fighting in a raid against Zygarde where we demolished it! I had a Togetic that had Follow Me and another person had a mon (I think it was Machoke or Crustle) with Wide Guard. They kept spamming Wide Guard and I spammed Follow Me. So, all of its spread moves were protected against and I was immune to all of it's single target attack moves. And then our other teammates could slowly whittle it down little by little until it was defeated!
And with how bulky Togekiss is, even if it went for Bind, you'd just be fine. Incredible luck there.
My group was a ragtag group of madmen- I had the Hitmonchan setting up Hail, one of my friends had picked up Wide Guard Kingler, another got Weather Ball Frosmoth, and we had an AI Flareon that just straight-up refused to die, it was actually incredible.
My squad was a fuck ton of ice types and we ko'd it before phase 2.
I beat Zygarde by complete fluke the second time i encountered it, my team threw every debuff known to man onto it and then hit it with so much ice it couldn’t even transform

I’ve beat him a fair amount by spamming wide guard and hoping the NPCs attack
Bro I just got an ai with wide guard and destroyed Zygarde
You are lucky the ai either does nothing or helps the boss. I remember we where going up against a water type (forgot who) and Electabuzz was the only one who could defeat it. But the ai kept spamming helping hand on my or my friends pokemon who had nothing for the water type. And I think we either lost that battle or only had 1 heart left because the ai was so bad the boss knocked most of us out before Electabuzz decided to use an electric move.
I won first try thanks to a Froslass dealing big damage, Zygarde falling to red before transforming, and a Noctowl putting it to sleep.

Sure, Garbodor may not have been a good pick into Zygarde since Poison is _weak_ to Ground, but Zygarde is not outright _immune._

Zygarde is probably my favorite Raid Pokémon, just because it has a phase 2 like an actual RPG boss. I love it!
I'm glad I managed to beat this thing with regular AI characters. Perfectly fine with just catching the zygarde

@@faradaybed7805 Blacephalon is a joke; his moveset is like 3 varied typing attacks of fire, ghost... grass? And taunt. To make things more laughable, his HP pool and defenses make him an easy 1-hit KO candidate. If you bring anything that is supereffective against a fire/ghost type, you're good (and there is a LOT to choose from).
The only reason Zygarde is a pain to fight is he has like base 108 HP, and Power Construct transforms him into having a base 216 HP minus any base HP he lost before (So at half health transformation, Zygarde has over 150 base HP to work with on top of potential double attacks).
Let's also not talk about how only Fairies and Ice types are effective against him, which aren't bulky enough to survive the constant spam of Land's Wrath and Thousand arrows.
Hunting shiny Kartana is even more of a joke. It’s super frail, and fire types completely destroy it.
I got the shiny Zygarde after so many tries and it's one of my most hype moments.

I recently done this one. For anyone having trouble, Dynamax Frosslass can almost solo this fight.

You can also get a Mienshao with Wide Guard in Dynamax Adventures too, because someone on my team had it and we managed to beat Zygarde because of it.

Being fair, he did say he was told to substitute, and that's only cuz everyone else assumed that scale shot was gonna land the 3-hit. But as any experienced person would tell you about 2-5 hit moves, never expect more than 2 if it ain't Skill Link. Anything more is a gift from the rngods.

Omg yes I was able to capture Zygarde, but it took a few trys and it didn't help I was doing it solo but got lucky I used ice pokemon and wide guard to help.

I got it first try. But I was lucky enough to have some really strong players with me
@@thedogester Same, except I was on solo. It definitely wasn't skill tbh. The only reason I won on my first try was because I was lucky enough to have an Abamasnow, and one of the NPC's had a Kingler with wide guard. It might just be me, but I noticed that the AI for NPC's in Dynamax Adventures is better. The NPC's make pretty good choices when choosing rental Pokémon, and I noticed that they make less dumb moves than they do in Max Raid Battles. Most of the time, they won't just spam stat boosting moves, and they actually attack.
@@mynameisirrelevant7000 I mean, in my solo zygarde fight I did it first time due to a Pokemon with wide guard and two people with super effective moves (one me one AI) but then on another fight I had an AI gurdur that had 3 super effective moves and kept using coaching when the Pokemon I was fighting didn’t take much damage from anyone else. Needless to say I barely won.

So fun fact about Complete Zygarde: it's a glorified Dynamax. It literally just gets an HP boost and looks different.
It also trades in some Speed for extra Attack and Defense.
But despite that I still love it for how cool it looks
@@elijahpadilla5083 It actually only gains sp. Attack, not Defense or physical Attack. It doubling it's base HP just makes it looks like it has more defense, since it's health bar will go down at half the rate.

The spread moves are definitely worse than the extra health. It has multiple moves that have spread, it's rough.

I don’t know how to explain this, but I was doing a Raid Online and encountered Zygarde for the First Time and when I somehow defeated it and caught it, the Zygarde turned out to be a Shiny Zygarde. No Shiny Charm, First Time Encounter, I can’t understand how.

I ended up being a loner in my sword and when I got to tundra I had to do it all alone, I ended up getting every single beast over and over I kept trying for several hours and days and I got em all 😂
It’s very cool how it has a split between ultra beats, legendaries and mythical
I did Zygarde with NPCS and I found it really easy lol
