  • @ClaudeHart21
    @ClaudeHart21 6 лет назад +80

    It's a bad move for Washington.. It's not cause they got Alex Smith (I think they overpaid him) but it's what they gave up. Kendall Fuller was their second best DB and the best slot DB in the NFL tbh. So you gave him up and a 3rd round pick for just a semi-upgrade at QB. I think Kirk Cousins is going to Denver and maybe just maybe go to the Superbowl

    • @GEEZYEA777

      Shannon talking nonsense, 1st he said Drew Brees doesn't have a running back, he has Alvin Kamara, and Mark Ingram, not to mention, he had Reggie Bush his Superbowl season and Reggie had a very good season that year. Running backs help, but they don't define qbs, Alex is better than Kirk, it's close, but Alex is better.

    • @romain8390
      @romain8390 6 лет назад +2

      that.guy.jsnake the one runningbacks point was off, but I don't think Alex is better than Kirk. Kirk has done more with less. Even the defense around Kirk is terrible too. 28th, 28th again, and 20th the last three seasons.

    • @hallowedjake
      @hallowedjake 6 лет назад +1

    Comparing pro bowls between the two doesn't make a lotta sense to me. The NFC is way more loaded.
    AFC QBs with pro-bowl talent:
    1. Tom Brady
    2. Ben Roethlisberger
    3. Philip Rivers
    4. Derek Carr and MAYBE Andrew Luck, Deshaun Watson, or Marcus Mariota in a full season.
    NFC QBs with pro-bowl talent:
    1. Drew Brees
    2. Aaron Rodgers
    3. Drew Brees
    4. Matt Ryan
    5. Cam Newton
    6: Russell Wilson
    7. Matt Stafford
    8. MAYBE (because we haven't seen more than a full good season) Carson Wentz, Jared Goff, and Jimmy Garoppolo
    If Cousins goes to the Broncos or another AFC team, I'm sure he's more likely to be in the 2019 Pro Bowl than Alex Smith.

Then Alex Smith have been the most consist quarterback in the league Alex Smith have thrown a double digit ints since 2010. Man I'm excited for next year but boy the Redskins should not have traded Kendall Fuller he was becoming a great cornerback for the Redskins but now he got an opportunity to play against really good wide receivers now in KC but Alex Smith fits our offense scheme. Skip was dead right for the first time. Kirk cousins had Pierre Garcon, desean jackson, jordan reed, and crowder in the slot and still barely got in the playoffs and went silent against a horrible GB defense in the wild card round. he chokes constantly in 2 min situations, just like accidentally taking a knee into halftime in that same game.

    One of the few times Skip's perspective is on point, at least about Cousins. It's possible he could flourish elsewhere but Washington had one of the best receiving cores last year and the year before, that's why his personal numbers are so good. Alot of the big plays this year came off screens to Thompson before he got hurt and Vernon Davis. I've watched nearly every game Cousins has played as a starter and the biggest problem I have with him (besides the pick 6's and endzone interceptions) is that he is late on throws alot of the time. It's noticeable when you watch him and then watch the upper tier quarterbacks.

    • @RossApathy
      @RossApathy 6 лет назад +1

      I think all this year proved is that they had no choice but to throw the ball because the running game was non existent. Plus its easier to get yardage throwing the ball when the other teams are playing prevent defense because they have a lead. That Seattle game was only impressive because of the Seahawks reputation. Seattle did not play well and the Redskins defense actually showed up that game.

    I love Andy Reid but as a Eagles fan I've seen him do this before and it end badly. Anyone remember Kevin Kolb?

    Kirk Cousins might be a better fit for the chiefs because he has a stronger arm and takes more chances downfield than Smith does. Unfortunately this isnt a qb for qb trade. Also the redskins are dumb af. They shouldve just gave cousins a deal instead of franchising him every year. As a cowboys fan id gladly take cousins over any nfc east qb cept maybe wentz. But then again wentzs great year could be a fluke. Who knows.

      Condor_l Gaming I liked Kirk too. They're gonna regret getting rid of him.

      I think Wentz is the real deal, but coming off a torn acl and lcl who knows if he will even be ready next year.

    Alex Smlth had a nice career in KC. Is a true leader. Good Luck in Wash. That seems to be an impossible place to play.

    I know a lot of Raiders fans that would rather have Alex Smith than Derek Carr

    Skip and Shannon both missed the fact that Cousins had several seasons working with Sean McVay. His importance to the Redskins offense was incredibly influential. Cousin's numbers were not as good without him.

    I find it interesting that Shannon always uses that used car analogy.
