Great video! It showed me exactly the thing I wanted to know about.
Great for a project, family videos, Social media everything else Davinci Resolve free or paid for 4k, 120 FPS and the bells & whistles. Little bit learning curve at 1st. But worth every min. of your time to learn.
i like your tutorial
very good explanation
THANKS THATS JUST GREAT
That newly married running couple - triggered me - I'll be right back.
in all the programs I haved, it was a tool to
grop or ungroup the clips on the timelne. Here I can not find this tool. Where
is it ? Affter triming the clips always we need to regpoup or ungrop the clips
on the timeline. How to do this?
If we trimed many clips om the timeline and it is not here a tool to groop all these clips to make a one big clip our video
and we can not do nothing with these clips if we can not to select them
how to select all tremed clips in a one clip? We can not select them
Can you please let me know how to make a long 3 hour loop vedio using a small vedio clip, is there an easy way? i have been drag and dropping the file until i reached 3 hours . is there a easy way?
How do I do this if I have an external mic audio synced up to the video without unsyncing? I tried grouping them, but was unable to remove the middle chunk.
Right click on timeline, then select group or ungroup from the down drop menu and it would do it.
Do that in the 2020 version and once the section of clip is removed, everything after it (to the right) immediately slides down the timeline and butts up against the next clip to the left ruining the synchronization of any edits on overlays, voice, and music tracks! So unless I am missing something, the video track is useless for editing and i now do all my editing on overlay tracks and ignore the video track. Is this a bug or is there an option I can click on and off?
The group and ungroup feature only works when you slide a clip off to the right or whatever position on the timeline, let's say you trim a clip in half. If you decide to slide the right split half of the clip to the right, it creates a gap, but if you delete the clip on the left side it will automatically group with the following clip. So to avoid clips from moving on the timeline and since you have things on your overlay tracks that synchronize with these; once you trim or do whatever edits to your clips on timeline, just drag off clips to the side to auto alight with the clips on overlay tracks. The gaps in timeline would remain as gaps thou.
Yes they have really changed Corel Since, I First used it in 2015, It is no Davinci Resolve 18 that's for sure. Thought I come back to see if it got better. IDK? I believe I will stay with the Paid Davinci. Best In the World for Color, Video, Effects, Etc.
ok, I'm at idiot and am trying this out. That trimming thingy is on my video and I don't want it there. I have all the video and still clips and transitions I want, and suddenly the trimming thingy is on the timeline. How do I get rid of it. I'm afraid if I just play around I'll delete the whole thing on accident.
Can anyone tell me how it is possible to separate these clips on the timeline without them jumping back together? Corel say that you cannot move clips on the timeline to leave gaps and I would like to.
Ease just drag clips apart from each other after trimming or cutting in half...
How to make another clip stay on place when i delete one of clip
It only works when you trim a clip then drag the right split off to the right side, the gap in between clips created remains empty then till you either choose to regroup or ungroup items on your timeline.
Help!! I want to take a small clip from a video, and WITHOUT removing it from the original video, save it for another project. I can't find a 'save' or 'save as' once I clip the segment I want. HELP
To save it, all you got to do is drag that video clip or segment out of the timeline to the folder where you store your video clips. You can drop it on to your Sample video clip folder for example or create a new folder for these.
But how do I take a large video and save many small videos from it? I want to crop entire large video so all smaller videos are the same.
I used Corel back in 2015, then Cyberlink, and other paid editors. But they moved to paid monthly fees, you never own it. Just use what Hollywood uses for the best sci-fi, actions movies: Davinci Resolve. Free for HD video 60FPS and lower, or Paid 1 time fee $300 for life including all updates, new effects, etc. for the Big Boy Toys of Hollywood... It started out as the Best Color grader for video in the world and now does in all including cloud, sharing, all kinds of hardware, cameras, routers, studio, Etc. Good Day everyone.
I am editing 4K videos and your multi-trim doesn't work because proxy files are not used in that editor. Also not used in the Single Clip editor.
it's because you're american)

That's correct, to avoid this I trim my clips from the timeline and it works just fine instead of using the other trim methods.
@@carreteFILMSPro I think it is false advertising for them to say it supports 4K. Should say partial 4K support. Even the screen capture tool crashes if you try to screen capture a 4K monitor. The deprecated Live Screen Capture from the 2018 version works with 4K monitors -- so there is actually LESS 4K support in 2020 version than the 2018 version.
Prawda? ;)
Every time i hear this kind of voice i get more dead inside.
Hope you're still alive :)
