X beys now are simplistic and that simplicity in design is so clean! Burst had some of the most crazy and beautiful concepts and designs, each of the beys were like pieces of art in later seasons
Beyblade burst suffers from being overdesigned, power-creep madness that goes against the original concept. These Beyblades have gotten so fat and unburstable that all you’re left with is underwhelming battles between two fat plastic Beyblades that can’t even explode. The impacts are so underwhelming because it’s still plastic hitting plastic, and now that they’ve gotten much heavier, the density prevents from explosive recoil like the earlier releases of burst. If it was metal on metal, it wouldn’t be this way. X having metal and being smaller and more mobile already makes them a superior proof of concept. I always thought the battles of Metal Fight were better just because metal on metal contact was more visceral. X takes this and the burst concepts to create a best of both worlds. You got simple and compact designs and metal on metal contact of Metal Fight and the bursting of Burst. The extreme line also creates for more dynamic battles too.
I really hope Beyblade X keeps the gameplay as balanced as it has been thus far. Each release has been exciting, but has not done anything to make any previous X releases feel less. PhoenixWings design is looking absolutely crazy, and all though it's yet to come out, I doubt it's going to blow everything else out of the water to the point where it'll make the first releases feel obsolete. I hope that we can still play DranSword against Beyblade X Beys from even years in the future, and the chance of winning will be based on strategy and build, and the complexities of new parts will just be more options for all releases of Beyblade X beys, both old and new!
Beyblade X reminds me of the OG Beys (Plastic Gen) in terms of simplicity. In fact, they're roughly the same size as the HMS (Hard Metal System) Beys. Forgive me, I was around when Beyblade first started. I still watch it and collect them to this day. Even my daughter (age 8) enjoys Beyblade.
I recently rediscovered Beyblade last year. I was someone that grew up with the metal saga found some of my old beys and started playing with them again.i ended up rewatching the anime for the first time in years and it holds up. So much so that after i was done i went to watch the original series and man i love the sound track of that show. Seriously I’ve been listing to the soundtrack every now and then afterwards. I ended up watching Burst and just finished it and here’s my honest opinion of that anime. Seasons 1-2 are a consistent show and was solid all around but it turns into an anthology series afterwards. Of those I personally prefer Turbo with Aigers story but I got to say the recasting of the seasons 1 and 2 cast felt random.Not sure what was up with that. While seasons 4 and 5 are fine seasons but seasons 6 wasn’t my thing and 7 is 50/50. I do like that Volt kept changing his look as it made it feel like time was passing I only seen one episode of Bey Blade X after tracking it down and it’s an interesting commentary of people that take the game seriously be people that want to have fun
I got into beyblade at the start of Metal Fusion and got out of it halfway between the start of burst (in the states). Gotta say X is a really good and welcome return to form. They beys have metal contact points again! I didn’t really like Burst, the clashing of plastic wasn’t as satisfying as the cling of metal. Odax O2 looked cool tho and was the first (out of 3) burst beyblades I got.
Burst didn't impress me when it was first coming out, it didn't impress me when it was mid-way through, and it certainly didn't impress me when it ended. In general, the Burst gimmick was cool but the step back to plastic contact and the quality of Hasbro's products (I couldn't really get TT at the time), deterred me from getting into it. X on the other hand has brand new innovations with lots of great action and strategy, bringing back the best parts of each generation's tops, and reviving fan favorite Beyblades from years past to work with the X system. It's so exciting. Burst is not bad by any means. I respect it for what it was and keeping Beyblade relevant and on store shelves. However it faults are glaring in my eyes and X fixes a lot of the issues I had with Burst.

The only complaint I've heard about the anime is reused extreme dash attacks. But that's basically complaining about spamming special moves. I think the characters look more fleshed out in the anime than in the manga. I'm currently reading and watching it simultaneously
The biggest criticism for the anime is the characters are less expressive. It’s a lot of still and static shots. Which is more of the fault of the creators forcing the animation team to get the anime done so fast, so they’re rushed. The anime really should’ve been delayed, at least until the summer of 2024 or something.
I dont think they used ai for the anime itsself but for other stuff also i agree with the animation quality like the fps/frames in the scenes they move a bit choppy and i heard this anime is in a budget the beyblade burst anime dint released until we hit the duel layers so they have time to make it good and one more thing some of the faces the way there drawn seem off like seriously tho this was produced by the same people who did the burst anime
I forgot to mention to say something in the last post but the burst anime after season by season the animation got worse but was still more expressive and launch style still look good tho after post gt. The artstyle of the x anime is similar to burst since its produce by the same people who did the burst anime but it still its own thing it was trying to make style for the x anime to be more a bit realistic this probably the most realistic take on beyblade i seen and they wanted to do a futuristic direction with this but still i think x looks a bit better its my opinion so that attack me anyway.So look after season 1 of x let the animators have a break or something they been animating the beyblade anime since burst like we will wait for a while for them to prepare everything as possible

I started to be a fan of Beyblade when I was around 5-6 years old when Beyblade burst just came out. I have seen everything grow even when I quit for a while because I thought they got boring but I’ve gotten back into it the past couple months and I have been loving it and looking back on all the fun beyblades finally I’m so excited for this new generation starting and for me to get back into beyblades
I’m very interested to see how Beyblade x will evolve n progress moving forward. like 2,3 or 4 years from now! I’m more of an all in attack Blader, so im glad with this gen attack types have more of a chance in, not just competitively, but in regular stock battles! Oh! that’s another thing too, the stock combos for this gen so far has been pretty solid! though, I wish TT would’ve given us more ratchet options rather than repreating parts we’ve already gotten. However, im not complaining because although, i never got Sharkedge, I was able to make a Stock combo of Sharkedge thanks to the two Deck sets with Hellschain n’ DranDagger! so, thats definetly a plus. I think with the repeated parts is more like a Double-edged sword because you get to make stock combos of beys that are difficult to get, but you lose variety. It’s still early and we’re bound to get more cooler parts eventually! Im Xcited for Pheonix wing and WyvernGale, the parts are sick and the bey designs too! I’m very curious about the Gear bits and the 9-60 rachet tbh.
Beyblade x brought me back after a 10 year hiatus. I'm having even more fun than I did with metal fusion. The x-treme line, the speed of the beys, and the dynamic battles are so appealing. I skipped burst, so I don't know what to make of it, but x is the real deal. I hope they keep it going in the future.
What I say about Beyblade Burst and Beyblade X is that both are good! Both of the generations are good. They got some good's and they got some bad's but at the end of the day both generations of Beyblade are good either way. Hopefully the future for Beyblade X improves and maybe the animation improves as well. I don't like the same studio that made Beyblade Burst it just isn't fair you gotta change it. It would get boring like Burst if it happens again! And for Beyblade X right now hopefully Hasbro doesn't screw up. (Seriously Hasbro you have one job and if you mess up once or even create chaos then your going to be in big trouble. Serious trouble. LEGAL trouble. I'm surprised Hasbro didn't even get in trouble with the plastic problem. Plastic breaks and those beyblades can't last long they usually are WORST. Beyblade x actually has me getting back into the franchise it seems so invigorating to have the heavy focus on metal combat points and personified crest on the front to really give these new x beys personality it feels like a perfect combination of every generation that came before it even has the burst gimmick but not nearly as common which I much more prefer as it's cool when it occasionally happens but with burst that's about how half or more of your matches go overall x has been good so far I just hope they continue making more incredible designs
Tbh i wish the burst system comes back in a later years,when im like 20,i love seeing beys go boom boom, mixing beyblade X with Beyblade burst for a new anime/new beyblade series could work
Personally I prefer x more, mostly cus burst felt very overdesigned in my eyes, I like the simplistic style plus the return of face bolts and their graffiti inspirations.

I got into beyblade again, after 15 years or so when I saw a video randomly popping into my recommended by LeftBurst, where he was hunting for the ratest beyblades in Japan. While watching it, I was like: no way beyblades have this much of depth & people play it still or even competitively. Unfortunately, it‘s way more popular in the US than in Europe but that is imo most likely due to the content creators being from NA & focussing on the NA market rather than for instance, german speaking content creators. Long story short, I ordered 9 beys, a stadium, & 2 starting zip thingys 😂 Got them cheap too from japan directly. PS: speaking of content creators, I am aiming to pump out beyblade content on Tiktok in german so let‘s see what the result be & if we can win one or two more people that become Enthusiasts 😂
Tbh I love Beyblade X, It's simplistic and has a great way to battle. My Only hope is that they don't make the beys heavier and give them stupid gimmicks. They Could improve the details of course but I always loved the simple designs
They better improve the beys look and add more gimmicks bc rn the only bey that looks awesome is pheonixwing and for the gimmicks they better do something else because shi is going to get not boring but repetitive with the x stadium gimmick of the rails
Beyblade is currently trending on Twitter (X) again, and I found out that there is a new Beybalde and that they are metal now. Thats how I got here. Hope X continues where Metal Fusion left off
6:25 segment describes my thoughts perfectly about burst. It completely fell off from its main gimmick that made battles interesting in the first place, late game meta was just weight and spinsteal. burst resistance being added with chunky teeth, dash tips, and built in locks killed the game
I absolutely loved beyblade burst back then. I do think that the later ones have either overused mechanics or are just unburstable. I do think beyblade x is cool too.
they should bring back Beyblade Metal Fight series since i really like the simple design from those Metal Series. i don't like Burst series since it looks way too complicated. i might comeback to Play Beyblade X since it kinda look similar to Metal series Beys

Beyblade x should only take gimmick inspiration from metal fight and OG beyblade, most burst gimmicks are not practical for gameplay or overpowered burst felt more and more like toys than a actual game
If they go with better esthetics and bigger beys x will kill it for sure especially with that metal and adding more rubber tips and gimmicks would be crazy with the new stadiums
I think the beyblade x anime is awesome. Hits the true emotional points. Having a main character who's goal is truly to get hetter and not just keep their top spot it awesome. Really made me mad when birds teammates left him then decided to speak to him again, they didn't support him which makes them very terrible friends.
Burst was really good but the stickers gave me ocd every time they started peeling and especially as a spriggan fan, the white rubber needs to be easier to clean 💀
Studio OLM is horrible as a whole I can't really say many great things about it so I kinda wished for X Takara tomy gave the rights to a new or different studio/production team
arena transforms the beyblade into hot wheels!!!! in something that makes it easier to throw the opponent out of the arena... AND BORING because it's certainly something much less luck or style of playing, but ultimately it's something that makes it more automatic.
For me the average rating for the entirety of burst (burst-QS) is high good - Low great and X for me is currently a mid-high good! So for now, my pick is Burst when it comes to just the anime.

I like X cuz of they're design. I loved with passion Metal series cuz It had personality. You knew that Leon was a lion, Aries a ram, L-Drago a freakin' dragon. The anime helped a lot and it was waaay better then burst. The Burst series are so heavy in design and collors. You can't tell what avatar represents when you look at them, they didn't have that little thing...they didn't have a "soul" tbh. The burst thing was funn but as you said, in time that was not the case anymore. X has a fresh design, you can tell they represents an Archer, a Viper, a Dragon and not only by name, but with they're entire design. I don't think I can buy them in East Europe right now but omg I can't wait to get my Viper when it comes out here

I just got into Beyblade X. Grew up with metal fight. I tried buying some burst beys but didn't like it as much. Beyblade X is looking very solid so far.
I got into beyblade back in 2011-2012 metal fusion was just about 15 to 20 episodes in and burst when it came out I didn't really care I was so into mfb that I didn't want to battle anymore because at that time mfb was off the shelves and burst was the only thing but later on I got kinda into burst probably during god or cho z but I haven't got and X beys yet just glad they brought back the metal contact hopefully I get some X beys soon but for right now the only bey I have is Phantom Orion and the og storm pegusis string launcher

Beyblade x actually has me getting back into the franchise it seems so invigorating to have the heavy focus on metal combat points and personified crest on the front to really give these new x beys personality it feels like a perfect combination of every generation that came before it even has the burst gimmick but not nearly as common which I much more prefer as it's cool when it occasionally happens but with burst that's about how half or more of your matches go overall x has been good so far I just hope they continue making more incredible designs

Personally I prefer x more, mostly cus burst felt very overdesigned in my eyes, I like the simplistic style plus the return of face bolts and their graffiti inspirations.
I’m glade beyblade went back to focusing on gameplay and practicality first instead of just gimmicks that don’t work
For me honestly I love beyblade so much I'm just glad it's continued and been loved by so many I still enjoy the og plastic gen
praying that X doesn't do what burst did and have huge power creep every season with the beys all being way too big for the stadium by the end of the series.
I got into beyblade again, after 15 years or so when I saw a video randomly popping into my recommended by LeftBurst, where he was hunting for the ratest beyblades in Japan. While watching it, I was like: no way beyblades have this much of depth & people play it still or even competitively. Unfortunately, it‘s way more popular in the US than in Europe but that is imo most likely due to the content creators being from NA & focussing on the NA market rather than for instance, german speaking content creators. Long story short, I ordered 9 beys, a stadium, & 2 starting zip thingys 😂 Got them cheap too from japan directly.
PS: speaking of content creators, I am aiming to pump out beyblade content on Tiktok in german so let‘s see what the result be & if we can win one or two more people that become Enthusiasts 😂

Tbh I love Beyblade X, It's simplistic and has a great way to battle. My Only hope is that they don't make the beys heavier and give them stupid gimmicks. They Could improve the details of course but I always loved the simple designs

6:25 segment describes my thoughts perfectly about burst. It completely fell off from its main gimmick that made battles interesting in the first place, late game meta was just weight and spinsteal. burst resistance being added with chunky teeth, dash tips, and built in locks killed the game
X seriously could end up as the best generation
I absolutely loved beyblade burst back then. I do think that the later ones have either overused mechanics or are just unburstable. I do think beyblade x is cool too.

i think X is a good base to improve upon, just like the first gen of burst
they should bring back Beyblade Metal Fight series since i really like the simple design from those Metal Series. i don't like Burst series since it looks way too complicated. i might comeback to Play Beyblade X since it kinda look similar to Metal series Beys
I think for me the other thing that needs to improve across the board is the accessibility to competitive play.
There is only one thing I hate about beyblade x and its how tall they are but other than that I love it.
Plastic Gen and Burst have the same feeling for me its not for me. But like The Metal Fusion/Fight and X just itch that thing in my brain and now im back into the hobby since Metal Fight/Fusion
Beyblade x should only take gimmick inspiration from metal fight and OG beyblade, most burst gimmicks are not practical for gameplay or overpowered burst felt more and more like toys than a actual game

I think the beyblade x anime is awesome. Hits the true emotional points. Having a main character who's goal is truly to get hetter and not just keep their top spot it awesome. Really made me mad when birds teammates left him then decided to speak to him again, they didn't support him which makes them very terrible friends.
I'm glad we are going back to metal edge beys. Let's be honest they were always on top just cause of the sound, no pun intedned.
Burst was really good but the stickers gave me ocd every time they started peeling and especially as a spriggan fan, the white rubber needs to be easier to clean 💀
Studio OLM is horrible as a whole I can't really say many great things about it so I kinda wished for X Takara tomy gave the rights to a new or different studio/production team

i think tue most great beys gen is the burst beys, designs and battle is so insane, unlike the new bey x its so simple in battle

arena transforms the beyblade into hot wheels!!!! in something that makes it easier to throw the opponent out of the arena... AND BORING because it's certainly something much less luck or style of playing, but ultimately it's something that makes it more automatic.

I like X cuz of they're design. I loved with passion Metal series cuz It had personality. You knew that Leon was a lion, Aries a ram, L-Drago a freakin' dragon. The anime helped a lot and it was waaay better then burst. The Burst series are so heavy in design and collors. You can't tell what avatar represents when you look at them, they didn't have that little thing...they didn't have a "soul" tbh. The burst thing was funn but as you said, in time that was not the case anymore. X has a fresh design, you can tell they represents an Archer, a Viper, a Dragon and not only by name, but with they're entire design. I don't think I can buy them in East Europe right now but omg I can't wait to get my Viper when it comes out here

I got into beyblade back in 2011-2012 metal fusion was just about 15 to 20 episodes in and burst when it came out I didn't really care I was so into mfb that I didn't want to battle anymore because at that time mfb was off the shelves and burst was the only thing but later on I got kinda into burst probably during god or cho z but I haven't got and X beys yet just glad they brought back the metal contact hopefully I get some X beys soon but for right now the only bey I have is Phantom Orion and the og storm pegusis string launcher
I think beyblade X will surpass beyblade Burst after review from the fans through the seasons, but currently I like burst more
