I grew up in this era. Our teachers used to take us to the Safari Rally, dusty and sunny but it was worth it. They used to race around a town called 'Makindu'. Very cool.

I was confused at first with what the drivers were wearing. guess it was too hot for firesuits lol. this was REAL racing
