Yes!
Lovely lovely lovely movie
❤
Trailers are useless man THIS is how you market a film.
I don't think trailors are useless necessarily. But I do see your point I think that a short reel like this for example can have an impact in advertising a film such as this one for people to buy the idea to go and see the full feature.
For realsies
Let’s vote trailers OUT
Yes yes yes
Dude this is 30 secs and I want to watch the movie vs 1-2 minutes I don't care lol
I would much rather see a scene with the two leads and zero plot, than ALL the plot and zero chemistry shown between the leads - seriously could do a better marketing job with $5 than their $5 million bahahaha
James McAvoy could read the back of a Benadryl box and I'd call it a masterpiece.

James Mcavoy a much underrated actor - also apparently a good man- he donated £250,000 to NHS at start of pandemic to buy protective clothing for hospital workers
I don't think he's particularly underrated. I think important people within the industry are very much aware of his talent and appeal. Personally I will never understand how he wasn't nominated for an Oscar in "Split". Playing about 7 or 8 different characters at the same time and each and every character was unique and played consistently throughout the film. He had an idea of how he was going to play each of the personalities and once decided upon, didn't deviate from that character's personality at any time. He even had one personality (the actor) being played by a different personality, so that personality could get information out of his therapist. Just astonishing.
Pls stop saying he's underrated he's pretty famous, a superstar in UK perhaps. He's got an SNL episode so hes also well known in US
@@Anneofalltrades369well known in US??? what did u mean!!! he's famaous all around the world!!!

I first saw him in Penelope. The writing’s not the great in it but he was charming as hell. The X-Men prequels hooked me completely because his performance was compelling and versatile. He and Hugh Jackman are my favorites.

I wish men still dressed like this. He looks HOT 🥵
He is 🔥 hot. Whewwwww.....
He looks hhot because he is handsome. Imagine your random average 40-yo coworker with a slight belly in this.
Prince.💜~ knew this that's why he enjoyed the tight trousers, fluffy shirt/blouses, curly tendrils of hair, the intent stares, smirk on the lips, the attentive movements of hips, whispering sighs in songs he knew what turned on women the most.
No, he's hot because he's hot, not because of the clothes. Unless you have a string kink for these type of clothes, I don't think any average or less than average looking male that doesn't look like James would be too appealing in these clothes. 😏
His voice 😩
I loved James McAvoy in this movie! 😍
Good God! I had forgotten how insanely beautiful he looked in this movie!
😍😍😍😍😍😍
They are so uniquely gorgeous
I had seen James in other movies, prior to Becoming Jane, but it was his delivery of this dialogue that really made me sit up and take notice. Equally so, the scene in Atonement, when he's tearing up as he looks at the little dead girls on the ground, is absolutely masterful.
From time to time I watch this movie again, and I play James saying these lines and this whole scene like 10 times. Yeap. No shame 😂❤❤❤
Sounds like the male swift knew what he was doing 😏
Seriously, guys should try this is as a pick up line at the bar and see how it works in 2024. Do you think the literary genre is as captivating and now as it was then or is it the delivery of the text or is it the eye contact. The most significantly it probably has to do with her knowledge of the literary work to begin with. I dare you to try it in the 21st century....
I would totally fall for that lmao
Time and place. At a nightclub when no one can hear you and the other person is having fun with their friends - no. If at the back end of a book store or library and he isn’t a complete stranger, it could. If just using those eyes and respectful but suggestive body positioning, even in a crowded space, also possible.
Ok not offense but his voice is criminally hypnotic, he did a great job here. 👏🏻😌
Hey he played in Penelope and he was great!
That's such a happy movie. Beautiful set/ costume design as well. It's the comfort food of movies. Basically had it on repeat after my hysterectomy. It's just light, cute, happy, and about love. Guaranteed happily ever after. Removed enough from reality that it doesn't remind you of your life, the world, and all its problems. Humorous. Just not stressful to watch, you know?... Sometimes you need that. Plus, I love it when the quirky wallflower has her dreams come true. As a quirky girl myself, I can relate. Obviously, I don't have a pig nose, but some extra happiness in your day and a reminder of unconditional love is never a bad thing.
I love this movie too.
So good you have to watch it on repeat

@@futuresuperstar4life All good. But if you go and watch the clip again, he actually mentions the title and author of the book at the very beginning.
@@221BBakerStreet Maybe he thought the title of the book was "Mr White's Natural History". Not far stretched to believe.
@@rexibhazoboa7097 The full title of the book is written right there on the cover. I'd find it hard to believe he wouldn't know that since he was actually holding the book. What he said was, "I've been looking at your book of the wood. Mr. White's Natural History".
The full title of the book is "Natural History and Antiquities of Selborne", written by Gilbert White. She was already aware of the full title of the book because she owned the book. So for him to read out the full title would be redundant. Completely unnecessary. That's why he shortened it to simply "Natural History" because he knew she knew which book he was talking about. An example of this would be say, the full title of "Noah Webster's American Dictionary of the English Language", which is a mouthful. But if you just say "Webster's Dictionary" or simply "Webster's", people automatically know which book you're referring to. Right?
