A deployed US soldier handed Toby Keith a package with a note as Toby Keith was boarding a military helicopter after performing a USO concert for US troops serving overseas. The soldier had written a note to Toby Keith. As a fellow Oklahoman, he asked Toby Keith if he would deliver rubies to the soldier's Mom who lives in Oklahoma. At the exact moment Toby Keith arrived on a motorcycle at the soldier's modest family house in Oklahoma, the still deployed soldier was on a satellite phone talking with his father in Oklahoma from a war zone. Toby Keith delivered rubies that the soldier had purchased for his Mother as a gift in person. The deployed soldier told Toby Keith that he had also just won a bet because his fellow soldiers doubted that an icon would honor the soldier's request. Toby Keith delivered them in person unannounced with no fanfare or cameras. Perhaps that is why when his friend Sammy Hagar asked Toby Keith what was a favorite song Toby Keith had written and recorded, Toby Keith responded that it may be Hope On The Rocks. Watch the performance where he sings and crushes Mockingbird with his then teenage daughter Krystal Keith at a televised event. Toby Keith was as classy as he was spectacularly talented, loyal, and successful. He walked the walk supportive of so many people. So sad with Toby gone. I have his CDs and truly loved his songs and music!!! I know a few friends that met him and they said he was the real deal....a truly nice person....he was way too young!!! He was a unique country singer & songwriter. Some of his songs were humorous and they would make me laugh!!! He was a real true country music artist!!! The country music industry has lost a legend and one of the greatest human beings of our time....he suffers no more. Rest in Peace my Brother....you are missed now and forever. 😢

Since his illness, I have said many prayers for him and his family. Thirty-plus years ago I saw Toby in concert in Las Vegas at a small venue. I was hooked, and now 20 concerts later I am waiting for him to come back. Shannon much love to you and your family.

The swifty fans response was that she was stuck in Japan and had no internet. People must be living under a rock. They got internet and wifi all over the world even in the Philippines. Most say she probably gave her condolences in private. Witch could be true. However usually when she dose that her people will put out all her good deeds. Like the ranting how she gave all her truckers and music crew bonus of 200,000. I'm like most good artists do that.But they don't have there people pretending to be fans and point out all there good deeds. Things are anonymous for a reason. She was ok till she ran to pop.
