    Nice work! What size wheel and tire are you running? I am looking at a similar set up and cant decide between the 17x9 0 offset and the 17x9 -12 offset. Thanks

      A buddy of mine did the work, but thanks! I’m running the Method 315’s and they’re a 17x8.5 with 0 offset and 4.75 inches of backspacing. 17x9 -12 might work fine but not sure if you would need a spacer to clear your upper control arm. I would probably just look into that if anything.

      @@OronasGarage awesome, I was leaning towards the 0 offset with those same Method 315s. what size tires do you have?

      @@marksnowden3996 I’m running a Toyo M/T 35x12.50. I was getting some rubbing on the frame and also on the back side of the front bumper. So I originally had trimmed the backside of the front bumper then to reduce rubbing on the frame I made a notch in it. Not sure if you’ve heard of the “Nor Cal Mod” but that’s what you’ll have to do if you run a 35. There’s tons of videos of how to do it as well.

      Mid pieces = 24”

    How much did you cut on your bumper?

    • @OronasGarage
      @OronasGarage  2 года назад

      I removed the lower valence and cut the bumper in half, using the ends I measured the total length and then cut it in half but I do not remember how many inches that was if that’s what you’re needing to know.

    What are the dimensions of the bumper?

    • @OronasGarage
      @OronasGarage  2 года назад +1

      I don’t know what they dimensions are off the top of my head. We used 1.5” tube steel top length going across is equivalent to grille length so about 30” and the tubes going down to bracket/mount are about 18”.
      They also sell pre-made bumpers through this company called TRP Fabrication.

      So it’s 37 1/4” across the bumper, and 23 1/2” from top part to bottom angle iron. Angle iron going across is 13 1/2” and uses the stock skid plate mounting points/hardware

    Welp i wouldve been happy to buy that clean bumper 🤦🏻‍♂️

    • @OronasGarage
      @OronasGarage  Год назад

      It wasn’t as clean as it looks, the lower valence was faded and had a lot of scuffs. And the chrome has nicks, scuffs and dents from it being an older truck. Appreciate the compliment on the old bumper though lol
