Neither of mine are anywhere close to museum quality lol. I do have a lot of LUV wrenching content coming up though so stick around. Little rough here in the beginning as I figure it out but should get better as we go! Thanks for the comment.
Id really like to see what they used for leaf spring mounts and steering hardware. Actually, an entire video dedicated to the conversion would be great too!
I had a ‘76 2- wd , dark almost Carmel color bought in ‘82 had to replace the alt and a fuel pump relay but I loved that truck .. the guy I bought from had had painted it two tone with a white like the old full size. Beach tires and white spoke wheels it was a great truck , sh I’ll have held on to it ...
If I were you, I'd wash this underside of this truck super clean and get your air compressor and start it up, and spray paint the whole underside of this trick with black rust olem paint. Spray paint the floorboards, chassis and frame and the underside of the bed. They make paint on bedliner these days, the bed can use a couple gallons of paint on bed liner on it to. Wouldn't hurt. This is a beautiful looking little truck you got here.
I already did all that. Was well before I thought about RUclips. Rust converter underneath followed by undercoat. Patched in the floor and gave it the same treatment. Used T-Rex liner in the bed. Not a huge fan of that liner btw. I’ve used a roll on type on a different truck. It’s not as pretty but holds up better.
I honestly have no idea. Never could find much information. I reached out to company but they never replied back. Dropping new video on it this morning though
I've got a 73 close to museum quality with 350. Glad I found this video.

Yours has the nice upgraded Makado steering wheel like mine. Edit: It actually is a Makado.
Do you have any idea how many of those were made?
