He doesnt have a perfect life. Yes he has doubles of every classic car but his wife, who's beautiful, is dying. She's beautiful, but she's dying😓
I SAW THAT EPISODE!!
Triples of the Barracuda, the roadrunner and the Nova
He used to be a huge piece of shit though, slicked back hair, white couch, white bathing suit, sloppy steaks for dinner. You would have NOT liked him.
@@stretcharmstrong3736 Did he have FIFTY SLICK BACK HAIR WIGS? Or Stanzos? (they're nice!)
And 500 plastic meatballs, they don’t look like little pieces of shit though
Oh Netflix suddenly remembers this show exists that's nice even if 4 years too late
It's because the actor (Jay Johnston) was photographed participating in the capitol riots on January 6th so he's relevant again. I wish I was making this up.
@@qwertyhole69 well thats a relief because I don't even know who Jay Johnston is
@@conservativestrawman9837 He's the guy in the leather jacket in this sketch.
@@conservativestrawman9837 There are three actors in the skit. One is named Bob Odenkirk. One is named David Cross. Now, stick with me here, because the next part is going to be really hard for you. The third actors name would be.........
+2
Can we take a moment to appreciate the fact that the actor playing the criminal got so into character, that he went out and committed actual felonies
holy shit what
@@jaems lol "attacks" you people are delusional
@@jaems i call it a joke
@@jaems bombs went off at the capitol? I must have missed that. I remember a riot at the capitol where citizens unhappy with their government went & rioted where the governors meet, instead of looting their own city & destroying small businesses.
@@InstiGator805 I don't care about you Americans nor your petty politics. The Capitol Attacks is what Google said and it's what I used, and I couldn't be bothered to look deeper into it. So forgive my gross negligence in not being inclusive to your 'pronouns.'
Let's start over. Jay Johnston was present at the Capitol Riots/Attacks.
"I'm a DIFFERENT breed of cop. _I'm from the STREETS._ And I'm the _LAAAAST_ cop you're ever gonna wanna mess with in a dark alley- darkened alley."
Hot cops!!
You gonna buy something this time or are you just curious?
Let’s say I’m Buy-Curious
Something that says, Leather Daddy
Bob Odenkirk angrily swearing is nature's candy.
and sad songs are nature's onions
He truly is amazing at it. Kind of insane that the only person better at it is also a Mr. Show cast member.
@@shalazarthewizrd5772 you talking about Ennis? haaa, yeah-the only other acting role I think I've ever seen him in is as "angry yelling guy" in a few commercials.
@@shalazarthewizrd5772"You guys don't have to lie to me-you're my friends!!"
@jewfroDZak he had a small role in buffy the vampire slayer that always sticks out to me because it has a close up shot of his goofy face through a door's peep-hole. But yes, glad you understood who I was talking about without me spelling it out.
0:45 perfect comedic timing 😂
Bob's got the Gene Takovic mustache goin on.
Bob Odenkirk must really like to call people "chatty Kathy".
As much as "sneaky Pete"
Easy for you!
There's something about the way Odenkirk delivers that "FUCK!" that just cracks me up every time EVERY time.
Yes!! He has the best voice! I could listen to him talk all day!
I enjoyed the entire four episodes, but skits like this one made me feel like I was back in college watching Mr. Show with my friends. Looking forward to sharing both shows with my daughter when she's a little older.
There was actually an extra episode that was taken down by netflix (episode 3), I won't go to deep into the reasons but you can find the reasoning online (David Cross was not happy about it). Netflix sucks for taking down episode 3, smh.
A little older , she could be the first in her class to define obsequious : obedient or attentive to an excessive or servile degree: "they were served by obsequious waiters"
Do you got change? For a 20?
Watching Mr. Show back in college on acid was awesome
Bob Odenkirk hasn’t aged a day in 20 years.
He always looks 42 lol
this came out like 5 years ago
@@OGRE_HATES_NERDS This show (W/ Bob & David) aired 20 years after the original series (Mr Show) first aired on HBO. I think that is what they were referring to.
@@viroxd he actually does look 20 years older though if you compare this to mr show
On Tuesday, Bob Odenkirk collapsed on the set of Better Call Saul and remains hospitalized with heart-related issues.
1. Of course this is hilarious
2. Goddamn it, Jay
1. Yeah!
2. …yeah…
"Not the Mexican tile!" These guys are great, and the skit was well conceived, written, and performed. A couple of minutes into this, I found myself wondering why someone had not done this bit before. It is so obviously, naturally funny. I also like how it has that stagey, retro feel, sort of like a skit from the Carol Burnett, Flip Wilson, and/or Sonny and Cher shows. Good stuff. Laughter is the best. : )
I was amazed by this skit. I loved every bit of it as well!
Definitely reminded me of Carol Burnett!! So true 😂🤣😂
This is a continuation of the Mr Show sketches, they even brought back one of the other cast members to play the perp.
If you like this they have all episodes of Mr Show on HBO Max and the newer W/ Bob and Dave on Netflix.
I don't remember then saying fuck on the Carol Burnett show.
@@nicholasmoose6574 It's called progress.
The fact that the biggest laugh was from Odenkirk simply hitting the table and yelling "FUCK!" shows how incredible he is.
To this day I think this is the closest to the perfect sketch. So simple and basic and yet it annihilates.
Perfect sketch??? Never thought of that. Whitest kids you know gallon of pcp skit. No no wait...key and peele Superbowl names....nah nah dave chapelle Rick James. Hmmmm Mr. Show when they send a guy who is obviously wired to a drug deal and the dealer is growing suspicious. Gotta make a list!
oh dude i mean this is borderline creepy how close in tone and appearance to an actual mr show sketch from back in the day, it's as if they never left
Imagine actual cops using this technique to teach perps empathy?
"NO! Not about the hideout........about me, what did, what did he say about me?" That delivery, with Cross wringing his own hands, just perfect. 😆
Gene Takovic, in parallel universe
"He said you have a pill problem." "FUCK!" lol
The original Mr. Show is my favorite show of all time. “The Story of Everest” is my favorite sketch from those shows. When Bob and David came back for this brief glimpse of greatness, I just assumed it wouldn’t give many scenes that were as “thought out” as those. It was such a breath of fresh air. And this sketch is so perfect, and is definitely my favorite from the new(er) episodes.
Maybe we can get more sometime soon.
The Story of Everest is incredible. I still laugh at that one.
The Bob lamonta stor, followed by that ridiculous rollercoaster commercial.
The Everest Sketch is hilarious. Such a sleeper.
I like the one about the competing grocery stores the most 🤣
Best sketch ever written.
I always laughed thinking about them resetting the shelves and all the thimbles.
“No not about the hideout! About me..what did he say about me” lol. It’s a friggin shame we don’t have more seasons I’ve been waiting forever hoping.
Watch, Cop Show with Colin Quinn to fill the void.
David Cross is legendary he needs more props 😩😭😂
Well he had a gun in this skit and did ok.
Bad Cop, Hurt Cop.
This show was 30 years ahead of its time 25 years ago.
This episode reminds me of the “I’ll marry your stupid ass! I’m in it for the long haul!” Skit from Mr. Show 😂
Actual footage of Jay getting interrogated!
We need a Season TWO of this!
There are actually 4 more seasons. It’s called “Mr Show.”
This is criminally under-watched.
Had to come back to this after Jay got arrested irl for storming the Capitol
And Everest. Probably my favorite Mr Show skit.
ruclips.net/video/e6H_uyNFbb0/видео.html
I can't wait when he escapes custody and it's exactly like this
I dont think I've watched anything this absurdly clever with great premises and well developed satire since SCTV.
Please watch all of Mr Show. Its all on RUclips!
Sending big love out to Mr O and family. Get well soon. What an amazing writer and performer but more importantly, by all accounts, what a good guy. X
Bob and Dave are BFFs. I stand with Ronnie Dobbs. Bob WILL get through this.
I saw David do a stand up set in Toronto at the Horseshoe last night with a friend. We were both laughing so hard we were tearing up. Now I need to see Bob!
There are no words to describe how much I love this!
This will never stop being funny. Ever.
Lol that guy stormed the capital. I imagine this is how he acted when he got arrested by the feds.
What who?
@@codyprice4592 Jay Johnston. The guy playing the criminal. It's too bad because he's a major part of the funniest show of all time.
And Bob was an election denier before him. At least all Bob did was make a couple commercials. It's absolutely crazy that the Mr. Show cast bookends the election denial movements.
irony is, the dude was at jan 6
These two are legendary together!
Yep
They should question him about his whereabouts on Jan 6.
All three of these guys have been in arrested development!
You should watch "Mr. Show". You'd probably like it. All of these guys were on it, before arrested development. Mr. Show came out in the 90's, but it's still funny as hell today.
@@toastangler it's true!
@@toastangler yes I’ve seen some of it actually - just funny even the other guy was a cop in AD aswell
David Cross and Bob Odenkirk are hilarious together
I'm so glad this is on RUclips now, I've been wanting to share this with people for ages.
This skit is like the best vanilla ice cream in the world. A classic perfectly done.
So this is how Jimmy got Kevin Watchell's dad to confess to funding terrorism and pulling his pants down when a lady tried to open a safety deposit box
Yup! 👍
And was at Jan. 6th
i was searching for that comment! YuP!
One of my favourite american skits, excellent.
Please give us a season two Netflix!!!!!
PLEASE!
I assume you’ve seen Mr.Show ?
@@tempsitch5632 More still!
@@HAM-TV Same
Been so long but please bring us another season of this show!
It’s like a Mr. Show revival.
10/10 perfection of a sketch
Best skit from the Mr. Show revival
This clown did end up in an interrogation room lol
He sure did 🤡
Yeah, very disappointing, I always liked him on Mr. Show and he seemed like a nice guy in interviews. He wasn't just there (which would have been bad enough), he was helping people push forward etc. - he was actively participating in seditious activity.
Bob is such an amazing actor
Jimmy Pesto really took a turn for the worse...
Supposedly Mr. ODINkirk is doing okay after collapaing on the Better Call Saul set. You aren't ready for Valhalla yet you mighty bastard!
Who would've thought this would foreshadow Jimmy pesto being investigated by the fbi about Jan 6th lmaoooo
its so funny when cops harass people. unless its a riot after a BLM protest or any other one that I like, of course.
It’s life imitating art imitating life or something like that
Such a great bit
Just 3 people in a room, all facing the same way, talking to a wall, again.
This is a great one
I think this whole skit is a stroke of genius, by everyone involved writers and actors are top notch.
“I’ll leave it on the fridge.” Gets me every time.
Wow, I love that ending! There were so many trite comedy mines they dodged with that move.
I appreciate that someone took the time to make "llama" smokes.
So I guess we're getting a glimpse into the current life of Jay Johnston.
And your comment is how I found out about that.... : |
Was this Jay's interrogation video from Jan 6th? 😁
Fun fact: Jay Johnston, who plays the criminal here, was part of the US Capitol Riot on Jan. 6th.
That's not very fun at all
When method acting goes too far.
Holy shit, I thought this was some kind of joke that was going over my head but I looked it up and you’re right, he was really there 😂 that’s insane!
@@TeeJaySmall Yeah, it mentioned by Tim Heidecker a while back but then it was swept under the rug and Jay's kept quiet since. I forgot about it until I saw this video. There still isn't much to find about Jay's involvement online though. He was definitely there but I don't think he was directly involved in anything and a lot of people close to him say they were surprised to see he was there to begin with.
He's a solid dude
Live look of his Jan 6 interrogation:
😂they walking right by each other😆
This was so good
Holy cow this is awesome!!
Justice Matters Most!
.. i thoroughly enjoyed this
Get well soon, Bob!
Better Call Bob
I love this skit
I lost it when they pulled their guns one each other and then tge criminal takes them away 🤣👌 this show was so damn funny bob and david are golden 👏
Burst out laughing when the pew pews came out 🤣💨💨
These dudes still got it
I showed this to two actual detectives at the Sac DA office and they got 2 more to watch
We had to pause it twice. They we rolling.
Hysterical!
An f'n hilarious set up, geniuses at play
He just needs to prove to them that he's not just a man...he's a man's man.
Mr. Show was so good and even after all these years they came back for another season and it was just as good. Bob Odenkirk is the best!
This is so good
Omg this is a show!??!?!?!? I definitely watch this now !!!!!!
this skit is amazing
GET A LAWYER !!
This was as clever as "Can I use this Chair" and "the Pre-taped Call in Show"....
Probably my top three from these guys
It's beautiful and perfect
Better Call Saul series finale in alternative universe
Does anything from this clip go to his Jan. 6th defense?
...what'd you say to Baby-Face? Did you say anything stupid? By anything stupid, I mean anything at all?
This is hilarious
This has the feel of a Carol Burnett Show skit. In a good way.
Love the "acting" being purposefully bad
Bob Odenkirk has collapsed today and is in hospital, hope he's going to be ok.
hope him well
It was heart related. He's in stable condition now.
Covid vaccine will do that to a person.
Shit is poison
@@JakeRves Shut up you fool.

Woah, anyone else notice how the voice-over at the end of this clip sounds like the voice-over on that old Davis & Main ad for the Sandpiper lawsuit ?
So surreal.
Bravo vince
