I've been laughing at your comment for way too long.
imgur.com/a/Tkt6iCd there you go, had to turn it into the meme format.
By Sigmar, if you want to make a better version of this with your rigging and modelling skills, if you have the time of course.
@@countgarlic9495 lmao you should post that somewhere man
@@engie3953 You know what? Maybe I will haha.
3:57 Skilled knight casually parries nearly invisible Skavenslave that was attacking while clipping inside of other Skaven.
Yeah, that motion is beautiful.
That was the coolest minotaur battle ever! Looked like a legit movie duel ! I'm just getting good at legend finally... much respect from NoCapes99
Don't try this at home, your puny human hands could not handle the force of an massive axe when you block it
@@tominieminen66 just get a shield lmao
@@declicitous1763 even if the shield isn't immediately destroyed by the axe, it's your shoulder, elbow and spine who'll get destroyed in 1 hit..
the only shot a normal human would have in melee combat is through dodging, parrying is completely out of the question
i learned so much from just that minotaur fight alone, thanks so much for another great video
8:40 8:40
Grail knights are awesome. But foot knights are sexier
Yes
Goddamn but the thumbnails are epic to go along with the solo gameplay.
10:58 That guy killed a minotaur by himself. I can take him!
I really like your videos, they make me wanna try out new builds and playstyles! I also really like the thumbnail for this run, Kruber looks so badass.
Amazing as always Choco, hoping to be at least half as good as you one day!
I almost always use battering ram with most builds, I think the 3-sec invulnerability talent is overrated. If the invulnerability kept you from getting aim-punched or disabled it would be better. But as is I find the ability to break out being surrounded by elites, or knock down an entire patrol more useful.
Same here dude. With the addition of spear-shield, you become extremely useful and tankh in all situations, giving so much stagger, croud control and decent enough damage so that this 3 sec invincibility becomes virtually useless compared to the sheer utility of the battering ram
Babe is gone, she wasn't real all along... Well, at least I've got this new ChocoB upload
oh no, you took your medication :(
Always love your uploads your so fucking good.
"Yeah i wish enemies would ragdoll when i charged into them! How could you tell?"
That was a hell of a impressive run
"It's raining men! Hallelujah"
damn hes a bloody battering ram
makes me think...a Star Wars game with Vermintide's gameplay would be cool. Instead of a sword it'd be light sabers, and instead of skaven, it's a bunch of younglings.
Best looking footknight skin I've seen, like a Knight of the blazing sun. Is it a mod you're using?
It's possible to get it officially. You only need to pay for the headgear, though.
WOOOOHOOOOO
I used battering ram for a good while and found it's not as useful as I thought it was. Mainly because going through the enemies and getting attacked from behind isn't ideal. Which can happen regardless if you just knocked down all the enemies. If your team isn't helping and there's more waves coming by the time you finish mopping up everything in battering ram's extended range you'll be surrounded again. The 3 second invulnerability is just better hands down since it lets you res people no matter how hot it is. Slamming into the monster, stunning it, and then dealing enough damage to recharge the charge before it can recoup and just stunlocking it to death, way better. If your kerillian has the single shot talent for her volley, she can probably melt it in two seconds with you holding it in place. It's also the greatest talent simply because when those fire rats start spewing flames and it gets too hard to actually see them to shoot them, you just charge straight through their flames, take no damage, and then they get stunned. I'm telling you. That talent turns the game into "Press F to win."
Nice!
Im curious: why use the one-handed sword, instead of, say, the bretonnian?
Great run
5:55 Kruber is wiiide
That minotaur fight was sexy af
What mod do you use for weave illusions
Hey chocoB,
How do you decide what True Solo class/weapon combinations to do on what maps? I feel like there are certain combinations that are just doomed to be either failures or just unfun grinds. For example, trying to do Enchanter's Lair (which has a Lord with incredible amounts of HP and wave spawns balanced around 4 players fighting at peak ability to clear) while on a tank class with a shield weapon would be stupid. But on the other hand, doing nothing but "meta" Sister of the Thorns with S+D and Javelin on maps with easier finales like Righteous Stand would be stupid too.
I want to get into doing True Solos but I'm not sure where to start.
Interesting question. Well, I can generally agree with you, but I think the word "ridiculous" is too strong. The main focus of this game is multiplayer, and SOLO is not the essence of this game, so you should be free to play according to your own abilities.
I think it's more about what you are looking for in Solo. If you're looking for something more challenging and difficult, you can play on Build, Difficulty, or Map that suits your needs.
I prioritize personal enjoyment and self-satisfaction over challenge, so I play at my own pace with various combinations and maps. I don't think you need to think too hard. I think you should just play with what you think MetaBuild is for now, and if it's not enough for you, you can step it up.
This is one of your nicer plays in my my opinion, great job!
Nice gameplay, didnt know that onehanded sword is good weapon to use( usually i use executioner sword or shield+mace or bretonian)
Also , please , i u can , please tell me this build( talents at least) 🥺 i wanna try to do something like ur gameplay.
the build is listed in the video description
One Handed Sword is definitely not a "meta" weapon - it's probably inferior to Mace+Sword in nearly every aspect that matters (horde clear, crowd control, anti-armor). However, M+S is frankly boring because it's very one-dimensional: spam heavies against pretty much everything, mix in the odd push attack for CC and faster attacks, and use lights only against isolated trash that isn't worth charging up a heavy for. Its power through simplicity is its strength, but it's also boring to use.
1HS has a very cool sweep-sweep-overhead for its lights 1-2-3 as well as heavy 1-2 -> light 3 combos. The overhead is a very strong attack because it's very fast and hardhitting, practically a heavy attack's worth of damage and anti-armor capability but on a light attack. But it's limited to how often you can use it because it's buried deep into your combo and there's no way to "cheat" into it quickly.
Fighting with 1HS is an engaging puzzle when you're already on top of your positioning and CC game and want to have fun maximizing your DPS by figuring out how to best utilize your 3rd-strike light overhead when it's available.

Why don't you use a shield if that's a one handed sword?
You should start showing your builds
This isnt deathwish.. why you lyin?
This was disgustingly good!
Doesn't look as fun as using a big ass hammer tbh
