Right now it’s still firm maybe because I don’t use it much. The biggest problem I have is if you lay down on it the split in the middle hurts my back. I find myself putting something on top of the split to make it comfortable.

(I'm currently watching it at work on silent - so I apologize if this is answered in your video...) :D The entryway to my apartment is very small so that is one of the main reasons I'm looking at buying a couch in a box. Eventually, I will need to get it out - is this breakdownable once it has been put together? I will have to be able to make it much smaller to get it out of my place when I move so just want to be sure before I buy it! Also, how are you liking the couch a year later? Thanks so much for any info!
Yes, you can break it down but if can avoid it just try to fold the back down to move. Keep in mind that you may have to take the long piece of wood in the front to fold it up. Make sure to not over-tighten the screws when put together. It is not comfortable when laying on it. I found the split in the middle hurts my back and I use a flat pillow to help that. If you want something soft I would go with something that you can remove the pillows.
I can say that it’s holding up pretty good. It sits very firm. The only problem I have with it is not comfortable to lay down on. The split between the cushions makes it very uncomfortable.
You pull the back forward and it will recline when you push it back. It has poles inside the back when you want to use it as a bed. There are two more settings as you pull forward to recline.

Pull the back towards you then it should go down. Don't for get to pull out the leg in the back.

I don’t really move mine around or turn it into a sleeper. It’s great for sitting but laying on over a long period of time is not wise.

Yes. I'm six feet. But It's not made for long use. My back starts to hurt because of the split in the middle.
