'' we cannot adjust side to side '' what?
The real mvp
I watched from the beginning without looking at comments but then he started talking about clear coat and if you've had your car painted recently, that's what I decided to take a scroll down.
Questions: 1) Exactly where is the adjustment screw-a slower close-up would have been useful. 2) If you turn the adjustment screws without first hooking up a computer and selecting the appropriate area will the adjustment screws still change the adjustment, 3) What kind of attachment do you need to hook in to the OBD port?, and 4) Is there a program that must be downloaded on the computer in order to tap in to the car's controls? Thanks.
Sorry for not clearly showing the adjustment screws... they white plastic once, easy to spot on the headlight housing,
If you adjust the screws without the scan tool help it will not adjust , you need a specialized scan tool to do this ,
Great to have your videos back.............they really are the best.
Thank you so much, just the explanation I needed!!! You saved me a lot of time, please make more videos! :-)
nice! you are back with great videos
Does the same apply for 2007 Touareg?
Yes
hey there. I have vcds but couldn't seem to find the control module for my headlight. please could you confirm where it is and also what do I need to change to make it learn the new headlight position
What kind of car do you have? What kind of light is it?
turn on fog lights
+EDGEMOTORS I didn’t understand what is the use of and what you did with the VCDS software in ajdustment of headlight since there are screws that do the adjusting? I have a Passat B7
That’s only for cars with hid lights, you have to let the control modules know the position to which you adjusting it, otherwise if you adjust the lights only manually it will move them out of alignment when you turn the car on.
EDGEMOTORS ok thanks man👍🏻 I tried and finally visibility is improved for high beam VW headlamps.
Do you turn it clockwise or counter-clockwise for up?
Are these adjustments made while headlamps are set to “full beam” or dipped beam?
Wtf… shame you used no metrics measurememt…
Is anti clockwise on the adjuster screw upwards?
Mine says AFS. Plus lights flashing
matrix led on audi a4 b9 doesnt have that module
Is this the same on Audi a6
Need a different bulb in the passenger side.
I have the same lights would I be able to switch them for a regular one? It's so expensive to change HID
HID bulbs last a LONG time compared to halogen. If you crunch the numbers HID can actually be LESS expensive than halogen in the long run.
Daignostic equipment for audi

Thank you.
Would have been nice to know what direction (clockwise or counterclockwise) your turned the Allen to get the light to move up. 🤷🏽♂️
Do you know where it is for the Audi A6 C5 2002? They are just too low and i want to higher them
It should be in similar location...
@@EDGEMOTORS Can this be done in non Xenon lights? By manual i think.
On none xenon lights, the adjustment is manual, you don’t have to use the scan tool to adjust the lights....
Just go ahead and adjust those hex keys to the proper position. Just be careful not to. Break it.... very easy if the lights are several years old...
@@EDGEMOTORS Thank you, i was looking for that for already 2 months xd
