As ever nice to learn by you Damian, thx so much for this piece of motivation...that's not really easy but not really hard...just a best pratice song...Enjoy your day..best regards Alain from Switzerland . 🙂
Damian Is "the swing" 👏🏻🎸 BTW what amazes me is that, if I stop for a second to consider the matter, I do have all the pieces in my "arsenal" but I cannot put them together as Damian obviously does... My inability is colossal 😂😂 But I'll keep on studying... Ciaoo 🖖🏻🎸 P.s. thanks for great content Damian
The blues has always been my favorite music either with guitar, harmonica especially combined and some sax thrown in four good measure I'm loving these lessons, wished I was in Florida right now.
I always loved Chicago Blues --Sonny Boy Williamson, Muddy Waters, Hound Dog Taylor, Buddy Guy & Junior Wells, Willie Dixon, and so on-it’s gritty and fun.
Just been revisiting your good rocking guitar jump blues video. Am I correct in saying that lesson 2 isn't a 12 bar blues, I'm struggling to fit the parts over one. Still love that dvd, loads of great lessons on it . Loving these Chicago blues ones too.
Thanks for watching. To answer your question, all the lessons on the "Good Rockin' Guitar" course are played over a 12 bar blues. Cheers & keep on rockin' :)
Damian, I love your tone, lessons and style and especially your upbeat attitude! I just have one request. Could you please list the gear you are using? Guitar, Amp and Pedals. Thanks
Hey Damian... What model Harmony is that?.. Looks like a single pick-up version of the Meteor...Is it a Rocket?.. What year?...Thanks for another great lesson!
It's a Harmony Rocket H53. The stamp on the guitar is faded and unreadable. But I do know that the sunburst finish of these guitars was available from 59 to about 63. Cheers & thanks for watching the video :)
For some reason the Blues does the opposite of making you feel down in the dumps ,for me the Blues wants to make me get up on the floor and boogie it makes me feel alive not down in the dumps maybe that is why it is my favorite music of all time.
South Side Baby !!!!!! Right here Right Now!
Sweet. Thanks for watching :)
I for one would love to see/learn Damian's upbeat version on soloing over this fun 12 bar blues shuffle! Jim C.
Thank you. Cheers & keep on rockin' my friend :)
