I was born in the 6o's and my teachers in school and college would never reveal their political affiliation, and they strived to be unbiased in their teaching. These ethical principles have been eradicated.
Why has it taken so long to realise this and get to grips with it? I discovered this when I left school and joined a union in 1974! My dad warned me after his experience in the shipyards in Clydeside in the late 1940's even!

I was born of working class parents in the 1940s in the South East but have been living in a rural area for forty five years and I have found the values of most British people to be the same now as they were then. A sense of humour, politeness, respect for personal space, a love of nature and a wish to preserve it but I see such rubbish and crudity pushed out at us in the name of entertainment I wonder how long this will last.
