- Chris Kaba had been caught on CCTV shooting a man at a nightclub and was allegedly a key member of a London gang, it has been revealed.
A judge allowed details of Kaba’s criminal history to be made public on Tuesday, following the acquittal of Metropolitan police officer Martyn Blake, who was cleared of his murder.
Kaba's family tried to block the release of this information. However, during the trial, the judge ruled that Kaba's past was not relevant to the case, so the jury was not informed.
Blake, who shot Kaba on September 5, 2022, was unaware of Kaba’s background and did not know who was in the car, which was linked to a firearms incident the previous night.

Kaba shot a man in both legs in a crowded nightclub only 40 hours before the incident with the Police. He also attacked other dealers using a machete.

It appears from the family statement that they were ‘unaware’ of Kaba’s criminal background……NOT!

The fact the guy had a criminal record, for fire arms, was in a stolen car that had a flag for firearms, that he wasn't complying with armed police but instead almost running them over to get away means nothing to them.

Juries have to reach a decision based on the evidence provided to them in court. If any juror tries to investigate a case outside of court then judges will come down heavily on that juror.
If Karba had done this in the USA you wouldn’t have been able to tell the colour of the car because of all the bullet holes in it.
