This is why Wired2Fish is the best fishing channel on RUclips. Great content with many videos filmed in my great home state of Minnesota, and awesome exploring new and hidden gems with tanks and toads!!
Videos like this help me to fully realize why I love the sport of Fishing. This lake is a Fisherman's Heaven on Earth. Thanks again for sharing your Wonderful Day. 👍👍
dude....now THIS WAS A SHOW YES SIR!!!!! from beginning to end this was exciting ....wow ....I had to stop and watch twice ...adventurous....and keeps you on your angling toes the entire time ....whew great job....another another another....
Key's stuff is always more of a Vlog format, and it's some of my favorite content Wired2Fish produces. Never hyper-edited, just good footage of some really cool places.
I work night shift and watched this. Came back here to comment. This was awesome!! So cool to come upon an unfished area like this. And for it to be loaded with smallies is just icing on the cake. Excellent. I would love to fish something like that in my kayak!
I'm a former Minnesotan, now Texan. Still have a family cabin near Mille Lacs. Thanks for sharing this adventure with us. Looks to me like you were slaying them on "L---" Pit close to home (less than 10 miles away). Keep the videos coming.
Truly amazing. Might have been the first human these fish have ever seen, let alone the first fisherman. I'd trade a tropical vacation for this any day. And after a day on the water, go for a dip. I'd love to see more footage from this pit! So peaceful.
What it must be like to live somewhere like this- where I live if a puddle stands longer than a week someone's fishing it. If it stands two weeks a no trespassing sign goes up immediately- and whomever owns it guards it like a piece of gold.
Wow man! Pretty awesome! What a 💎 of a find! It does look like the Great Lakes, or lower part of Bull Shoals Lake by the Dam when there's no rain for awhile. Jewel baits, gotta love em, their made a few miles from my vacation home in Midway Arkansas. I'm glad to see they're becoming a little more mainstream, their finesse jigs are awesome too!
Hahah super sick! I know that pit very well! Used to use wheeler to fish it right through the woods from my house till mining Co bought land behind my place. Now yeah like u did have to use sliver of public to access it
You mentioned fish being red, I experienced the same thing on a quarry lake. I think it may be the teal color of the water and the cones in your eyes becoming saturated with that color. It can cause the opposite color to be perceived when you look away.
Great video, that spot is so clear that it’s a place we fishermen dream of, I’ve never heard of onX app but I’m glad you mentioned it, I’m not trying to catch a trespassing charge. I mainly do creek fishing and love Ned rigs, I wade creeks or fish off the bank, but I want a kayak so bad, I’m currently looking at the Wilderness Systems ATAK 120. What kayak is the one you were using on this video?
It’s the Old Town sportsman 120 PDL. Highly recommend. I think there is a 10ft version too. Thanks for watching and commenting!! Check out onX for sure! Good luck out there-
Closest I've seen to kayak fishing for small jacks in the caribbean. Looks like a lot of fun. Do you think the smallies made their way in through tributaries? Or stocked? Did you see any largies? Great vid.
Just wondering how would a person go about getting into bass fishing for the first time and what type of lures, jigs and the pound test line to use, I'll be fishing in a canal.
I like fireline, 6 or 8lb test works well for me. Throw a leader on if that's what you wanna do. For sure get a couple topwaters like a whopper plopper and a frog, get some spinner baits, some offset worm hooks with some green pumpkin plastic worms and you'll be set for starting out.
Love this and other videos you have also done. I am hoping to get up to this area yet this summer and I would be interested in hitting this spot too. I also have created a website about angling for smallmouth bass on many of the rivers in the Midwest. Drop me a line so I can share it with you.
This is the kind of place people dream about. Talk about gin clear water. Next time you go, try fishing a Nikko hellgrammite or a tadpole on a jig head. I guarantee you will smash them!
Yup, definitely not a green sunfish. There's always that one person that feels like they have to make corrections in video comments (even when they're not even right.).
@@FishingThePNW except that the mouth, fins and spines and coloration are all green sunfish and it looks exactly like a proper specimen. pectoral fin is right size and the white tips of the lower fins. maybe PNW needs fish id lessons.
@@youtubzkoz I actually went back and caught that fish last night. It was still on the bed. It had predominant pumkinseed markings but had a much larger mouth and a little white rim on the tail. Pretty telling of a hybrid. If I had to guess I'd say Pumkinseed/Green Sunfish hybrid. Fairly common around here. It was larger than our average Green Sunfish which is also telling of a hybrid. They tend to grow faster but have shorter life spans..Now that i think about it though... Hybrids are usually unable to reproduce.. So why would it be on bed?.. 🤔 I've caught lots of Green Sunfish and this one just had more to it is all I can tell ya for sure.
Damn nice but we did a great job of keeping a secret for 16 years.... PB is 10 plus but I'll let you find the spot of BigNs... Pls do wear life jackets people's...

Never been so jealous of a secret spot! This is why I bought a fishing kayak
Kayaks have gotten us to some of our best fishing holes over the last couple years. It makes things easy but still very fishable! Thanks for watching-
It’s no secret, he shows you how to find it.

Glad you enjoyed it TWC. There are still some hidden gems out there for those willing to explore.
Virgin water where the fish haven't seen any lures or pressure... pure magic... it doesn't get better than this.
Love the longer straight fishing vids!

It never gets old to be excited on catching nice size small-mouth, no matter how many. The good old ned craw comes thru. Nice fishing!
Thanks, Tony. The Ned is deadly for sure!
How beautiful, little piece of Smallmouth heaven!
The western lick with the fishing in the background was awesome! Great video!
That looks like heaven
It was something pert near.
What an incredible place! Keys is always hammering them! Love all the content on this channel but definitely enjoy his the most!
So wild.. I try to explore. Sometimes it reeeally works out. Always appreciate you tuning in man! Thanks for watching-
"Why am I freaking out right now!?!" haha! I could only imagine!!! Great stuff!
Beautiful place.
Yes! It was so cool and serene.
9:30 hahaha we all dream for that emotion
I’m a simple man, I see Keys, I click!
Much appreciated, Lil Hito!!
Whatever they were digging up there before, now it’s a gold mine. Looks fun!
Well put!

3:15 Come on, I wanted to see you get that kayak over that fence!
Well, the fence was laying down so I didn't really "hop" it haha.
I love ned rigs.. whenever fishing gets slow I pull the ned out and always get a fish
Crazy how well those little things work!
Man, if I had a spot like that next to me I'd go and buy a kayak just for it. That looked amazing.
You should! They’re pretty handy!
Great video. Love it
Awesome video
wow..awesome catch 😎👌🔥🔥
So awesome
The epicness is almost as great as my jealousy. Awesome video. One of the best.
Thanks a lot, man!
this is friggen cool
kayaks freakin own
I’m not even jealous… lol awesome video!
This is such an epic video. And I’m also super jealous about that spot lol
It was worth the effort!
@@Wired2Fish beautiful location and overall fishing trip, what State? ✌

Whoa. That is very interesting. Will have to research this!
Trophy Armor will be filming an episode from this lake in the near future!!
Classic craw slams
This guy should be on the elite
topwater would be so fun there!
YES! It's on the list ☑
🔥🔥
The Homie!!!
You guys should make another video fishing this spot with other lures, I’m interested to see how big of a fish you can pull out of there.
Thats the plan! Glide baits we're thinking
@@Wired2Fish nice 👌🏽 I would also recommend a Heddon super spook jr. or frog for some top water action 🤩
Im excited, can’t wait!
Any update?

Man it’s possible them fish have never been caught before you.
Took all of 3 minutes to figure out where you were. I’d expect plenty of company now.
So from the deleted comments others left on my statement, shows some guilt in showing everyone these waters. You’re a true outdoorsman…..

Bro! How many fish did u end up catching?? What a find! I dream of finding a place like that.
Quite a few! It was a dreamy place! Haha
Man....you should've brought some topwater
Lol when you have to talk to yourself cause you your own hype man
You guys selling any wired2fish t shirts?
How did you get water depths before you went? Was it already plotted?
It had been plotted to an extent. The MN DNR had done some population surveys on it and while doing so they record the acreage and maximum depth.
Show de bola

theyre super stealth no motors or wake the fish dont stand a chanceeeeee
Green Sunfish
It wasn't until I filmed it underwater that it was evidently a hybrid sunfish. My bad for just dumbing it down to "Bluegill" -Keys
