i grew up on the Iron Range…pit lakes are a “different breed” I never fished it as a kid but returning as an adult…kayaking and fishing on it. It’s amazing!
It's nice to see that there's no trash on the shore. Here in Russia we have a lot of abandoned mines and they are pretty beautiful, but people think that they can use it like garbages and this fact realy upsets me...
I live about 20 minutes from this lake and Unfortunately People have been pretty disrespectful towards it and there is garbage thankfully not too much though
Do you know which pit this is? I want to take my friend paddleboarding to see the underwater forests! But I can't remember which ones are best to see that in. She thinks it sounds really cool to see 🙂.
I fish there a lot. You forgot about the rainbow trout. I go for brown trout and catch rainbows a lot. There are some really big largemouth in there. The browns are toads if you can get them long line trolling raps
