who the feck is giving this thumbs down? two honest, likeable guys making stuff go fast in a free and accessible format that even muppets like me can understand.
Nugget Garage I'm genuinely interested in why people think there so great & not just in a fast & furious hot boi type way though because I acquired one recently but so far I'm not impressed with it & I feel it's an over rated engine. I'm genuinely keen to know if there is something I'm missing about them that makes them so special from your pov ?
This helps ^ , JZ's are over engineered from factory, comparing to RB's especially, for chasing higher HP figures the stock head gaskets, oil pumps, pistons, rods etc all work, most other motors you are replacing them as you chase reasonable street car power levels.
You guys crack me up. You leave so much stuff in your vids to comment on. Street Machine doesn’t want anything to do with you guys because they know they will get smashed 😂. That was the tightest flange I’ve ever seen 😂
I had to remove the pinion flange from a WB Statesman salisbury diff, it had 3 stab crimps around the nut. I ended up cutting it (the nut) off with a die grinder and ordering a new one. Was tightened to about 59 squillion foot pounds....
Still find it funny that Holdens are mostly the same as the Opel rekord, senator and comodore here in Europ. I had an 86 record 2.2i shit box, but i loved that thing lol.
Bacardi 151 hasn't been available since 2016 due to morons setting themselves on fire with it. 🤦 I still have a 700ml bottle that has been sitting for that length of time. It's gonna be worth a fuckload in a few more years. 😎👍
The benny hill scene when the flange was funny! I was shown a tip a while ago, make a bar with two bolts that bolt into the flange, then it rests against the floor of the car, then use the biggest rattle gun you have or breaker bar. This works much better than just using the brakes of the car. Reason is the “give” in the diff takes all the momentum out of the gun and it just wont work as it cant impart all its torque to the bolt as the give through the mashed diff gears release too much of the torque to break tye bolt loose. bar works so much better as you take up that mesh and keep going. Using the bar bolted hard to the flange there is no give mind you be bloody careful that it is hard against the floor etc when you engage the rattle gun as it will whip around and take an eye out ( almost) ask me how i know..
Love your work guys mostly your sense of humour can't wait to see this beast run and for F***S sake who uses that much F****ing locktite on a F****ing nut!!! i have to admit that it was funny watching you guys struggle against a nut i was in tears laughing and feeling the pain of surprise!! ☺☺☺ keep up the great work catchya all in the next episode.

@@NuggetGarage 😂🤣 Hurry up then Chris, I wanna see the sickest manifold on the van then you can start on making mine. lol. 😉 Thanks for the shout-out too boys. 😎👍
1 hour 30 minutes of impacting on a locktited jam nut torqued to around 200 ft-lbs, yeah I would have got out a torch and heat up the nut after the second try using an air impact. Work smarter guys not, harder. lol Regardless I enjoy the videos, even if you go doing some noobie stuff sometimes. hahaha.
Wow that flange was tight 😳 how much locktight?, all of it. Lol Rebuilt my diff last Easter, flange nut was pretty tight but only 10 mins and my crappy 10 yr old 50$ rattle gun got the job done 🤷♂️😂
Hi guys, I am putting a green top barra in an XB falcon 4 door. It came with the ZF 6 speed trans. Are they any good for handling a bit of extra power? If so how much more and will it need any mods, will be using haltech electrics to run the motor and trans, the one that does both things for the Bf to Fgx upgrade. Got a AU ute limted slip diff aswell. Geez that diff pinion nut, 1 inch rattle gun time.
Nah should be alright. 1/2" Dewalt impact wrench - 950Nm constant, 1625Nm breakaway torque. 500Nm engine in 1st gear (assume 2.5:1) - 1250Nm constant, probably over 2000Nm when dumping the clutch.
Wow tiny battery leads my diesel fiesta has bigger leads and heaps shorter run being front mounted. But you know your stuff .That VL should have a full race blue 208 with dellortos Then you will see the numbers on Dyno plus you can tune everyday. Adam
@@NuggetGarage right... guess i would have cooked it 🤣🤣🤣 good to know thanks. Also have to mention that for an old vl yours is looking mint👌 not often do i see one with all the small plastic trim above the bumpers not being all wonky. Good work!!
Anti-counter-clockwise gets the apprentices every time 👍
The new production and editing is heaps better :) Loving the content guys!
Thank you! Glad you like it!

My first ever car was a VL, now I have a Supra so I am loving this series
Don't change a thing, keep doing what you are doing!
Between you guys and the skid factory, very refreshing content than what has become the norm of clickbait on RUclips. Loving it 👍
Keen to see a RB ,JZ, BARRA direct comparison & opinion of which is technically better & why from this channels prospective
JZ are betterer because..... JZ.. so there

those diff gears and pinion spline be hatin life with that impact , not to mention the bearings. love these fellas tho.
The Benny Hill music made me laugh right out loud. Thanks, I needed that.
Keep up the great work guys, preserving what little sanity we have left
Can’t wait to see the VL and Supra go head to head
I like how you both have to hold the stops on the lift.

I love it when you talk about flange
After 3 weeks, you can see the aggro building in everyone's mannerisms and communications. Same with other car channels like the Skid Factory too.

If you can do a street machine, nugget garage and skid factory budget build off. I think the world would be better off for it
