I love these brackets! It made rod installation in my old 1860's house so easy and it took literally 2 minutes per window. I will be changing over all my windows as I redecorate. Thanks for a fabulous product!
I saw this ad come up on my fb or Instagram just before I moved in December. I tried counting all the windows of the house we were moving to and was off a few but ordered the Kwik-Hangs and love them. They are very sturdy, look really nice and so easy to put up that I did them myself (and I’m disabled and can hardly walk). Actually it was harder to get on the little ladder than it was to put the Kwik-hang’s up. It’s easy peasy!
I just saw this on shark tank. As a handy Mani hang curtain for my customers all the time. It's a pain in a butt to measure, drill, level, etc... I'll buy this for every single one of my customers
Neat for utilitarian uses like small windows. But for most purposes I like to hang the brackets a few inches above and outside of the window frame. Aside from looking nice, it makes it easier to open the curtains fully without needing to use tie backs.
someone explain to me why the sharks passed on this? solves the drilling , measuring and leveling problem, 100% demographic (everyone has windows, everyone needs blinds), large margins, easily demonstrable on qvc or an infomercial.
A) looks bad. Aesthetic wise, a wider and higher mounting position (beyond the trim) looks much better for curtains or inside the frame for blinds, B) will ruin your trim. The miter will show, the board can easily crack on amateur installer pounding the top of a wooden piece of trim, and can tear MDF. C) not a lot of profit/vague IP. Brackets are really easy to make, and you can attach quite a few ‘normal’ style brackets like this with nothing more than a few fasteners and some ingenuity if you really wanted.
I just ordered my set for my slider, and i can’t wait for them to come in! have heard all good things about this product via reviews, I recently purchased a new home (new construction) and can’t bring myself to drill into the brand new woodwork or walls. I’m hoping this solves all my curtain hanging needs. I’m doing a tester with my slider curtains and if all goes well i’m ordering for the rest of my windows! to be continued...😬
WHY are these not at walmart or SOMEWHERE?! It seems to be a great product and I would have thought the shark episode will have walmart or home depot answering calls? However and I could be wrong, but ~$16 for one set with shipping seems a bit much. Everyone probably wants these but not at $16. I hope you can get a big order and drop the cost and put it in home depot or walmart soon!
@Dorothy Eberheart Something similar that uses magnetic rod holders to attach to metal blind border; however, they only come in small size and too light and small to hold bigger rods. These wouldn't work in apartments that don't have wooden borders around the windows.
I have bought all the double rods them for my windows. Installs just as quickly as in the video. Unfortunate you don’t have an outlet in Canada though I did buy from your site in U S and paid the exchange rate.
So disappointed to receive hardware that are unusable for it's design is for inside framed windows that I believe most indoor windows in homes haven't a ledge to hammer tiny nails into. I must ask for a refund for I have no use for these misconceptual hardware brackets. Maybe make these facts known before shoppers as myself assume curtain hardware is only for few homes of wood frames on inside windows exist. Sad.
I don’t know what you mean by “inside” framed windows because the video looks like it’s being tapped into the top edge of the window frame. Can you explain please because I’m about ready to buy these. Thank you.
My problem is a window that butts right to the wall... currently have window shades which don't protect my furniture and emits too much light into my bedroom and have no casing around the window
Thank you, tired of the cheap aluminum bending due to its own weight. Due to the wood frame above our porch sliding door, you get wallboard and then wood. No way to place the hardware to keep a solid grip. I’m going to give this a try.
It’s great but if I want to hang the curtains higher to give it a more long look these hooks won’t do the trick because it’s has to be attached to the window.
TermitesRGood1 that's not us they are infringing on all of our IP that's why it's not available anymore. Amazon is "supposed" to be pulling that listing...,
its hard for me to believe that AMAZON which is a $1.2 Trillion company would allow this;;; violation in (IP).. How do i know they're not the ones and your fake:? see where am coming from as a consumer.. i would love these now i dont know whats what.
I was just out shopping for new curtains and remembered this product from SharkTank and I was so disappointed to find that is no where near me. Sometimes online is not the best solution for all consumers. You could do Lowe's, home depot, Walmart, target, meijer, world market, bed bath & beyond etc.. Ugh.... I wanted my curtains up today....
This would not be approved by a quality interior decorator... imma telly you why. All decorators Know that curtains need to be hung closer to the ceiling to give a room that it is taller/larger than it is. Create curtain brackets that are taller and Bob's your uncle.
I'm puzzled about the Sharks not noting this, nor none of the comments below. I have built homes for the world's largest home builder and shopped dozens of homes. This device is only usable for a small percentage of homes. It requires a framed on the inside window, which is very rare among most tract homes. Most modern homes are built with a simple cut of the sheetrock and no framing, saving the builder money. For better or worse, and the presenter was nice, but the product is a very limited market.
@@KellyKels23 It is just one of those aesthetic things, looks better, better proportioned, does not hide casing, and so forth. Another common mount rule is 2" below ceiling, in other words, very long flowing curtains. Of course as always do what fits your space your opinions, your tastes...

Yes, I see your point but what are you “tapping” into if you are above the frame and the tapping points are too short? I don’t understand. Thank you.
@@dailyequanimity I think the point it that it wouldn’t work for them. I too like to place brackets outside of the frame. Hope they helps.
@curiousaboutculture 0:41 you can often tie into wall studs. of not molly bolts into sheetrock.

Are you hammering that into the frame or in between the frame and wall

@@revealationtruth add framework......
I need these in the UK, anyone know where I can pick them up?
Do they go into the wood or behind the wood between the door frame and wall?
It goes into the trim. The trim supports the weight of the rod because the trim is nailed to the wall.
Where do you buy the poles for the brackets, please?
What are the dimensions of the 1 inch center support bracket? I.e. how far does it stick out?
