Me tooooo!
Hello, u saved me from crying, thank you!
I've been procrastinating. Finally getting this little project done. Thank you!
Same here!
@@allyhope195 @Robert Newman Got the house 2 months ago. Been procrastinating all the drilling work. Maybe coz I don't have the drill lol. But I got paintings and shower curtains waiting to hang up.
Same here. Feeling good now to start it.
Same here
Robert, I hope u got your curtains up. It has been two yrs. How did it turn out?
Thank you! I've seen some ridiculous long drawn out videos over this and appreciate how straight to the point this is. Very helpful.
I'm pretty sure that I know how to do this without a tutorial, but I'm watching it anyway because I don't ever want to overestimate my ability. Thanks for posting.
Thank you I’m 58 with Autoimmune Rheumatoid Arthritis and by following these directions I was able too hang my curtains.
U don't look 58 on that picture
Javante Davis thank you I assure you I am and that is a recent picture.
I just put up a couple of blinds and curtain rods for my mother and did pretty much the same thing. Was my first time doing it before seeing this video. Now, she wants me to install shelves and closet rods in her closets.
😂🤣❤💕
Take care of ur mom
Thanks for this! Normally, I would ask my dad to teach me this stuff, but he lives in a different state. So this is the next best thing!
This was soooo helpful. By my luck, you bought the exact same curtain rods I did - I couldn't figure out how to mark the spot for the screws with that bracket! Thanks so much for making this!
thanks! i wanted some blackout curtains in my room and we didn't know how to install them, but now i do so thank you!
At first I thought the bracket was a bit large and unnecessary but when you hung two poles on it i thought what great idea, genius. Thanks for the video.
First video I’ve watched and you used a tape measure! Thank you!!!!
This is great! From a girl in LA, I appreciate it!!
Have struggled in the past lining up my mounting brackets. Never thought to use string! Thanks for the pro tip.
Thank you so much! Same here, something I had to figure it out on my own . I have the same brackets and rods you have too! 😊
Thank you so much because I started all wrong with mine. So very helpful.
Thank you so much sir 🙏
I was struggling to installing a windows curtain, now I got a lot of help from your video.
Thank you once again
This video helped me so much. Thank you.

Thank you so much now I know finally how I can set up my curtains❤️
Bobby thank you for this video
I told myself not to take these back so I’m soooo following this video. I hate asking for help lol
Wish me luck because this one I can follow.
Thanks bobby, you saved me lots of time.
This really helped!! Today my curtains fell down twice!! My mom is always very tired or high so she doesn't want to help!
Excellent video, straight to the point. Thank u!
Nice video-- useful and straightforward. Thanks!
Thank you so much for the help. It sucks not getting to have my dad home to teach me this stuff
Thank you so much! You helped make this so easy for me☺️
Beautiful!
Thanks!
I'm installing some rods now so thanks for this.
Great, just the help I needed. Thanks!
You make it look very easy. I am still frightened to do anything to a wall in case I damage it. Come hang some curtain rods for me, please! (LOL)

I've never hit wood with all screws in my life. Still, a fine video. Thank you.
Same here. Even with stud finders, I still can’t find it.
Should have been provided drywall screws.
Where can I rent a man?

This was the best video for installing curtain rods that I found on RUclips!
Thank you.. You helped me out alot. I'm all done!
one of my window was higher then other.. This is what happens when you measure from the window frame...(it as 2 windows on one wall..) ...But I learned something from this video, surprisingly - it shows the 3th bracket, which im going to install today. Thank you!
Thank you!
Thank you

Very helpful… Thank you 🙏🏽
Measuring with tape is good, but utilizing an RPC (Rody Precision Corner) tool is even better!
You make it look so easy.... LOOKs easy....😂

Awesome
Great help
Thanks for the video. I just got my rods today.
SO GOOD!
Thank you so much for this! This video helped me install my curtains.
Thanks boss
How far past your trim on the the left and right ends of the windows did you go when doing each end bracket? Or did you leave the edge of the bracket flush with the edge of the trim?
Thank you
I will be doing myself
Instead of waiting on hubby.
Nice vid! Nice hat! 👍🏼
Good job...!!!
OMG you make it look so easy🤣 thank you so very much!
Loved the "hand me the drill there son"
I like your hat!
I would have love to see how you screwed in that top screw on the bracket. That screw in driving me nuts to screw in.
Y'all make it look easy. I need a man. 😲
Work ya booty playlist will help for sure
Do it yourself. I'm a woman and do my own handy work. LOL
Gab rielle so do I 😟
No girl. Just skills 😉
How does one person do the 'string' trick alone?
Like your hat!
What size bit did you use to drill the hole?
Silly question but for someone doing projects solo how do you hold the string taut and still be able to mark the spots to make sure it’s even. I struggle with this as well as drilling and then find that there is metal on one side and not the other so it’s no longer balanced and even. I also mess up with anchors sometimes. I’m an apartment I can’t afford to keep drilling holes in all the walls to practice, fix, or check to see what’s behind it! Lol
Maybe tape?
tie one end of the string to a push pin and pin it in the wall.
This was so helpful for me! Thank you!
I know an older video and you may not reply.
Can you use the rods or bracket without drilling into wall?
I have vertical blinds and was wondering can i put the bracket onto it the vertical blind base and screw the bracket it tight.like you did at the end or must it be drilled into the wall?
Nice
Did you use a right angle drill adapter? I have a similar looking bracket, but my drill bit is not long enough to reach the top hole and so I can’t tighten it.
THIS!! The 3:42 mark is what I came to see but it fades out. I can never get that top screw tight enough!!
@@Ratoots84 same here! My bet is that he did’t end up tightening that top one which is why the video cut out.
Ur the best
I've got similar setup (double brackets and curtain + sheers) a handyman installed for me but the bracket is bending (it wasnt a cheap bracket) im not sure if it's the screws that aren't strong enough and is coming off? Or its the actual bracket that is bending. What do you think?
Could be the curtain might be too thick or heavy for the rod and /or brackets. It could also be that the screws are not grabbing the solid wood header behind the drywall. If this is the case, and the screws are just attached into the drywall, the whole bracket would start pulling away from the wall. Always a good idea to pre-drill a small hole to check for solid wood behind the wall. Otherwise anchors are a definite must for a solid hold on the brackets.
@@alherrera9920 How do we know if it's wood or some other material? I recall some spots being too hard to drill into in the few attempts that I've tried at different living spaces.
@@ms.honeylovedid you ever find out?
Thanks now what's a good yet inexpensive drill.
Where did you get the extension on your drill? What's it called. Because I had trouble with screw didn't have enough room. Thank you for the name of the extension
Quick tip! Bring the hooks all the way to the ceiling it gives the illusion the window is much larger and taller !!!!
I still don’t understand how do you string to make sure that the install is level. That was not clear to me in the video.
Use plastic anchors when only drilling into drywall.

My anchors didn’t go through all the way. Metal is blocking my drill bit from going all the way through. Thoughts?
@@jonathanj6462I'm having the same issue :(
@@subdivisionalmass I ended up using a metal drill bit and metal screws
My question is how do you fasten that top screw with that loop in the way? Fastening at an angle means losing the threads, right? If you could show that in your next video. Thanks
I had the same question
How would i know if there’s would behind the sheetrock? Thanks for the video!
you wont be able to drill through it
source: mine has it lol
How did you hold the string when you pulled it?
