Currently do my riding in Saudi Arabia. Have to start at 05:00 to avoid riding in 40c heat. Can you include some hydration strategies advice in future vlogs please?
Dang Lawrence, sorry to see that happened to you. My friend did the exact same thing last year from sliding out in a high speed turn at the bottom of a hill. Only thing was , his elbow piece rotated over 90° out of alignment. His arm was so swollen for so long the Doctor had to put an open top cast on. They put two screws and wire in his arm for 6 weeks. His required three total surgeries over a 6 month period. Hope you recover much quicker
That heat is every summer day where I leave. You adapt to it but you have to add salts (NUUN or SIS) to the water. Hope you guys avoid any more crashes.
@@Cade_Media Amazingly I didn't even know that was an option before your comment. Pretty dumb huh? Needless to say I just bought a bunch of the packets because the NUUN tabs were costing a lot. Thanks!
Careful how much you use, one nuun is just a tiny tip of a teaspoon of the powder on myprotein.com or bulkpowders! You get about 300 servings worth in packet. flavour it with a bit of squash if you don't like the funny taste
Yes please dry set up for tubeless I'm getting set spinonthese for my FGC bike and it would be nice to have the option of running them tubeless for races as I have to travel out of the country/other side of to do them
You don't need sealant when you inflate a tubeless tyre. As I discovered. But, it is completely random from one tubeless tyre to another, whether or not they will actually inflate and lift onto the shoulders of the rim. I've done this experiment and spent a great deal of time on the phone (to Schwalbe) and I'm waiting to see what happens (will I get a new tyre that works, just like the one of the pair I kept?). Tubeless "technology" is not mature. At least not for road bikes and wheels.
Update. The tyre was within tolerances .... but ... they found (Schwalbe) that they could only get it to mount on the shoulders by removing the valve core and presumably using a compressor, to get enough air flow. In other words, it was random chance if anyone could get that particular tyre to mount, even though it was apparently still officially "okay". They are sending me a new one anyway, out of the goodness of their hearts. I can't imagine these kinds of issues are confined to one manufacturer though.
Final update. New tyre came. It inflated without problem, with a track pump. So, what on earth are you doing Schwalbe? Does anyone think it's a good idea to be selling consumers products which may work "normally" or may require you to find a compressor and inflate without the valve core - all a function of random chance? For goodness sakes. The tyres themselves are fantastic to ride on. But you are going to put an awful lot of people off for good if you sell things that are that variable in their fitting/inflation. Clearly, you can make tyres that work like you'd hope. So maybe your tolerance parameters need changing to be better aligned with the needs of us customers who want to fit the damn things?!
What is it with you and Lawrence lately sprains bites and breaks 🙄Daisy you hate sunburn come to Australia the sun here will deliver real sunburn lol🥺🇦🇺😎
The wolf is not lucky at all.. he had similar problem in US project. Iam really sorry for him , That will delay your guy next project,, no problem just wish him enough time for recover. PLS ask him to stop riding for time being until recover and can use both arms. Love both of you mates
My question is....where is that poc helmet you got for free that time in Belgium? And second if it's medium size are you willing to give it away to a lovely home like mine?😆😇
Are we supposed to invoke the race horse method of dealing with Lawrence's broken limb? Not saying I WANT to put him down, but I think we should explore all options. Tough decisions ahead.
Yes please for the tubeless tutorial.
“Subscribe to me to help him heal faster” 😂 you heard the man. Cheers Francis 🙈
Warmed my heart to see Lawrence in such high spirits even with a broken elbow. Keep an eye on James's elbow's next summer.
Most positive guy I know!
Guess I'll have to wait for Lawrence's report on the Tour of the Reservoir. Sorry to hear you crashed Lawrence but wishing you a speedy recovery.
Nice one Francis 👍🚴😉

You can just buy a packet of electrolyte powder much cheaper than tabs.

I'm up for tubeless tutorial, thinking about going if I get my new Gravel bike.
Yes, want to see that, have not gone tubeless, but might happen one day.
Well at least you didn't break your hanger Lawrence ;-) seriously though hope the cast does the job mate.
Lawrence might be able to re patch his Di2 buttons so left hand is doing synchro shift

Bummer Lawrence.
Tutorial on tubeless is a yes please 👍
Daisy's face at @4:14 was pretty much my face watching them try to inflate those.
Lawrence will finally get to ride in tri shoes like he's always dreamed.
Lawrence, noooooo WTF. Hope you heal soon. Francis... Sun cream!!! 😝
Tell Daisy that aloe Vera is her friend for the sunburn 🥵. She will heal quicker & not sting as much.
Or some glorious E45 cream, works like a treat.
There’s a bikepacking event in the US, which I think you’d enjoy. It’s full of cakes, ice cream and beers. It’s called ‘Ragbrai’, check it out
Chin up Lawrence, crashes happen to the best of us unfortunately its the time off the bike that hurts the most
Yes please
Yes to tutorial.

I set up my hunt 4 season gravel and Specialized Trigger Pro everything went well or so I thought and I have a slow leak somewhere....
Does Lawrence have one of those invisible cycle helmets ⛑ 🤔
Artichokes, Broccoli the Aliens are already here.
Good Luck Lawrence!🍀

Thanks Francis! A tutorial about Dry Tubeless would be good. It's the first I've heard about it.

I'm glad Lawrence is not a horse.
Can Lawrence work the front brake?
Probably
@@Cade_Media Even with a broken paw? 🐾
Question is, would you attempt GBDuro again?
100%
@@Cade_Media Effing Legend!
Romanesco is the weirdest vegetable. Looks like a cross between cauliflower and a fractal picture.
Kid Karbon haha had the same thought
That stuff triggered my trypophobia. Holy smokes.
I crashed last week. Skinless arm, no break, bike is good 👍
When that plastercast comes off and Lawrence has one pale arm...... will it he resemble a lorry driver or vet?
If Daisy keeps riding with her lower back exposed like that it will be burnt more than her arms and hurt more too.
Just seat tubeless tyre then take out valve (it will go down but stay seated) inject sealant and pump up tyre easy
The seating isn't always easy though, washing up liquid ftw
@@Cade_Media yeah never needed it myself, but it depends on wheel n tyre combo
Last
I’m letting myself down being so late
