Friendly tip, if you sprinkle backing soda into cyanocrylate aka crazy glue it hardens like steel. We used it for repairs in the Army from chopper blades to weapons stocks. It can be sanded painted and primed.
Man that's pretty cool. I got bored with RC cars and trucks and I've been doing all RC quads (quad copters), but this video series with this crawler is pretty interesting. Great video
These WPL's are pretty cheap. I feel the aftermarket prices are cheaper for these than the SCX24's too.This entire build, truck and all, cost me about the same as what a stock SCX24 costs.
Coming from Aus, cost me a lot more for a WPL + all of the same upgrades + from customizing over the SCX24. However that was also due to lack of researching better places to buy from for cheaper costs. However, to get aftermarket parts for the SCX24 is as you believe more costly than WPL parts. Aside from WPL not having all that much in the way of aftermarket parts, there's plenty of time for growth for that. SCX24 is about $240 here where as the WPL with everything, custom lights, new radio, etc set me back $340+
You know, I was thinking of putting blue on there somewhere too. Maybe. I’m not going too much further with this after the next servo upgrade. Have other projects to move on to next.
Hey man I know this is an older video but I just got one of these for my son to be a project for us two. Did those wheels fit straight on or do I need some sort of hex adapter ?

Do you know what the differences are between the c14 and the c24? As far as I see from your videos they look identical
@@509Glock22 the difference is the c24 has a pickup bed in the back and the C14 has a flat bed with the spare tire. That’s it.
Hi, did you insert spacers on those MN wheels? I've got the same set but it won't turn when I tightened it.
I did not. Maybe you are over tightening them. I don’t know why else it won’t turn.

If ya have a whole jug of acetone then ya dont need any "Thickener, Quickener, Accelerator! An empty spritzer bottle is all ya need
I just thought acetone was to remove superglue. I'll have to try that next time.
