Thank you coach Charles. You just blew me away with tip no. 5. I’m actually really uncomfortable with shadow boxing and tend to lose focus with what I’m doing. I guess I never thought about the purpose of my routines and what I was trying to achieve in terms of tactics and visualising my opponent. This is great stuff! Looking forward to more videos from you.

Another nice task for my students in order to include more defence into their shadowboxing is to make them mirrow their attack right after with the according defence. ( throwing 1 2 3 then step back and catch - block - block for example)

I'm relatively new to the boxing game, frankly I didn't have a good impression of Cuban boxers as far as their humility and character specially after that stunt the Cubanos coach had with Naoya and his father. But Mr. Charles's channel has reminded of the importance of keeping your eyes clear and heart open. Even for someone as multicultural as me, living in probably the most culturally diversity city in the world (NYC). I have to keep reminding myself to treat everybody on a case by case basis. England has always ranked fairly low in my travel list but it certainly has come up a few spots knowing there's at least somewhere I'd like to visit.
