Tony, I have a bit of a unique situation. I have mild cerebral palsy, meaning my balance is problematic and my ability to perform reasonable footwork is very limited to non-existant. I'm mostly concerned with self-defense, but do you have any suggestions for how to make up for that significant disadvantage, or how I might go about compensating and building the best footwork I possibly can?

Man i have been slacking on watching some Tony Jeffries videos. Going through a rough time in life but then again who isnt these days. Boxing is my only Therapy. Its my only escape from the world. Where i can just focus on me, myself and i. No responsibilities other than improving my body. To me, boxing is my Paradise. The only thing i regret in life is not starting when i was younger. Its still hard to watch boxing without my Father. If i had one more day with him id take him to a boxing match. Something we always wanted to do but never got the chance. I love Boxing. Now to become a Tony Jeffries 2.0.

Forgetting almost everything I'd learnt. I can't thankyou enough for producing such a lengthy well explained and broken down easily to follow guide. Such a well thought out piece of content that I will be using to learn from. After warming up I am solely focusing on footwork and learning a stable basis to expand upon. Thankyou brother!

Someone give me an opinion, I use the mini stepper everyday for like one hour, been doing it for a full year, I got a smartwatch and can monitor my bpm s and such. Generally, my bpms on the stepper were like 110/120.. quite poor indeed, like walking lol theeeen…. I incorporated some punches while on the mini stepper and BOOM! 140/170bpms. lol at the end of an hour, I’m sweating crazy. Obviously the punch techniques on the mini stepper are quite hard to follow them right, but damn… shadow punches makes all difference to me.

Please, for the love of god, LISTEN TO COACH Jeffries. Before I learned the hard way, I used to drag my rear foot. Besides the obvious "you'll lose power in your rear hand," you can actually hurt yourself, and it slows down your training.
So, what I used to do was throw the rear hand and over flare the heel while dragging it. You do that several hundred times, and you'll feel it later. The next day, I woke, and as soon as I stood up, I felt a bulging pain in my right thumb toe. I looked down and realized because i was dragging my right toe so much I actually bruised it. It took me a couple of years and +10 lbs to get it all healed up. Needless to say, I learned the painful way.

Tony Jeffres Just one question. On our team FMW, we utilize shadow boxing. One question why are you not using a mirror? A mirror is good so you can review your footwork; after your practice.

This whole video was super helpful man. For me especially, the footwork portion was great in helping me to get rid of the bad habit of dragging my feet. Thank you so much.

Hi, I have started to follow you since a few days. The moment I decided to learn boxing, I searched on google and your channel popped up. Your videos are super easy to follow and in a matter of few days, it feels like awesome. I try to keep playing your video and imitate what all moves you are doing. The 101 guide for beginners is amazing and now this shadow box thing, is very useful for me as I am a sailor. Your videos provided me freedom of working out and learning boxing at the same time. Thanking You, I will watch and learn from all your videos. Thanks, Love from India. 👍🏻👍🏻
