I've always looked at Singapore for insightful diplomatic inputs, in particular Kishore Mahbubani and Bilahari Kausikan.
Bilahari is good at making us think about our present realities. Kishore is good at making us think about what future we can create.
Both are necessary. They are two different sides of the same coin. And the factor that would eventually decide the value of that coin is what we do as citizens of the nations within ASEAN.
