Only understood every 130th word myself but as long as you have eyeballs you don't really need to know what he's saying. He cleaned the connector and ribbon with isopropyl then taped it securely. Great work! Mine has been driving me nuts trying to troubleshoot this issue! Thank you sir.

For the last 4 days, My laptop screen is very dim and I tried many stuff to make it better just like previous but failed every time. I have watched too many videos on youtube but failed everytime and then just come to this video.

I have cleaned the connector as per your instructions but What would be the problem if another display is showing through vga output but led display of laptop is dimmed, do i need to check fuse, i mean fuse is blown?

I have tried as per the guidance. gr8!!!! work wonders. b4 tried everything but failed. I had the same problem with my laptop HP notebook and as soon as I touched the wire connected to the screen the brightness came back again. may b connection got loose or something. Easy as u like. work for me. for you all might too. go for it. 👍do as ur own risk though. do it carefully.

I have same problem on hp 15q bu007tu 6th generation model me. Laptop on ho rha hai, hdmi me v badiya chal raha hai. Sirf in-display backlight nahi jal tha hai. Kya kare? Kaise solve karein? Ek video tutorial banake dijiye na sir. This means completely backlight issue.

Hey bro! I got hp zbook i7 4900mq last week .
Now getting a screen distortion problem ,you can assume it as lcd light getting dim and bright constantly simply blinking but display is there .It happened after putting its charger of 3 prong cable into an extension supporting all 3 pins but may be due to voltage issue the screen got current or whatever like that ,but the point of concern is now i am getting the issue everytime i power on my laptop . And if u tap on the matte screen of this laptop u just increase the blinking .
I have updated all the drivers and no issue of software .
Any problem with lcd inverter,backlight,or something like that?

hello sir,laptop screen bilkul sahi aa rhi h but right hand side corner ne 2 to 3 inch grey shadow si aa rhi h,white jagah per to show ho rhi but gar movie ya game wagerah khel rha hu to wo coluring ki vajah se na k brabr dikh rhi,but main chahta hu k ye white jagah per bhi show na,,or han ye black spot nhi h kyunki black spot k aar-paar visuals show nhi hote h,,meri problem grey shadow h,iske aar paar sabkuch dikh rha h but aisa lag rha h k display ki right hand side k bottom corner ki 2-3 inch ki brightness bhot kam ho gyi h,,plz solution btaiye....

sir i have got a 2008 model Hp Compaq laptop , since 4 years it was remained in storage due to a start up problem but yesterday i pulled it out and tried to on , it ran without any problem after changing boot order then cleaning the internal hdd drive pins with little kerosene but today its display went simply black but i noticed a faint compaq logo was visible n after so many tried when i was going to store it back suddenly it's display came ,, so will it be the same connector problem or something with the hinge cable ?
