Hi bro , I have a problem my hp probook 4530s laptop, every time I want to install the video card driver the laptop monitor get black and after couple minutes it's shutdown it self...

@Mohan Sandal spent 1600 on spectre 360, sent it in to service center 2x for black screen issue upon wakeup, spent hours wiping and reinstalling everything, nothing fixed, updated everything, reinstalled os so many times, still have to reboot computer all the time because HP sells shit.

The Bios recovery (B+Win+power) did the trick. I've been repairing computers for a while and it's one of the first time this works lol I almost fell out of my chair. Thanks!

For those of you on the BIOS update part, just a quick fyi, the video says 40 sec, but mine actually took a couple minutes. after the 40 sec i thought it just didn’t work so i left and went upstairs, a couple minutes later i saw it had started to reboot, and now works perfectly fine, so don’t get discouraged if it doesn’t work after 40 s. Great video!

You are a life saver, it took around 10mins. I suppose it varies based on the model's processing power and the cheap ones (~300€/$) take way more than 40seconds.

$800 for the computer it lasted 6 months, sent to HP they fixed it and it lasted another 6 weeks, sent to HP again had to pay $300 and it lasted only another 6 weeks. Needless to say, I will not be purchasing an HP laptop again.

I was tryna install some OS but way before I had done something that made it so like half of the bios was more plain, and it’s an old model so I don’t know if I can download the bios repair software on a usb please help!

@@srijanadh2303 the battery keeps the laptop alive if you disconnect it so you can just leave it like that if you won't disconnect it but if you want plug it in

While I appreciate there being trouble shooting videos, the issue lies with the fact that I shouldn't have to jump through hoops for a nearly $1,000 laptop to function properly. Within less than a month of owning it, my HP Pavilion has had TWO of the fatal errors that are allegedly caused by windows:
First the infinite repair loop which forced me to factory reset the computer (when I called HP support, they tried to claim my year long warranty had expired despite the fact I had only owned the laptop for fifteen days at that point). Since then, my laptop has been black screening and inverting monitor colors. I did the trouble shooting method of updating the drivers. Now, merely a total of 25 days of owning this wretched thing, it's doing the black-screen-with-cursor error.
No amount of troubleshooting has worked so far.
My lenovo of seven years never gave me as many problems as this HP has in the mere weeks I've owned it.
A product so expensive should never be so faulty that it causes a college student to agonize over fixing it/retrieving homework from it until 3 in the morning.... it's a bit ridiculous, really....

Your comment really scares me because i just bought it over two months ago and while working it just turned to a black screen w a cursor thankfully restarting the bios resolved the issue but i really dont want it to happen again.

HP Support Help! i have an envy notebook and i was playing the sims 4 and it frozen for a few minutes. so i pressed on the power button for 5 seconds. what else should i do?
@@soccermom6456 press ctrl+alt+delete this will open task manager and click on sims 4 (in the task manager)And end task this will work 100%

Step 3 worked for my HP Paviliion x360 laptop. Held Windows, B button, and Power button for 1 second, and 30 seconds later the BIOS image screen popped up. Thank you HP!

None of these worked, all that happens is the fan grinds and it gets really hot. Fuck HP!

same thing as mine black screen and power and adapter lights turns on but it only hums fan sound still black screen and the back of laptop at right side gets hot as fuck and my tech friends told me it might be problem on mother board.

Thanks a lot! I got my screen showing up after disconnecting the cable and holding the start key for 15+ seconds.
I didn't remove the battery because the battery wasn't removable through the latches.
To further add, I was using the laptop for the first time in 3+ months.
I had dual boot Windows+Ubuntu installed, and after I switched it on, it ran the routine checkdisk task.
