Loved how Prada’s shock factor in the 90s is because the audience was not prepared to like it. Cecilia Mezzi has to be one of the smartest panelist you had
I agree it is timeless : it looks like any the boring seasons of fashion, like say 2011, before the Vetements revolution, where nothing interesting was happening. Or 2007-2008, but not in a good way.
It's simple, there is late 90s and 00s nostalgia is hot at the moment. Prada is quintessential of that moment, so buying into Prada feel authentic of that era.
Taste is relative but, objectively, Ms. Miuccia does know how to mix the good and the ugly and somehow making it “cool”. Something the likes of a Jeremy Scott obviously could not
Idc what anyone says about the intellectual value of this show, doesn't change the fact that the clothes were very boring and lackluster campy madame. At least the onesies were weird enough to be interesting, and ss24 had many very beautiful pieces the silk dresses, and the fringe were very dynamic, the silk falling like air, a second skin. The fringe pieces were such a beautiful play and clearly have been making influence across this season too.
Also, the fact the future was mentioned for this show doesn't seem to line up with large velvet burnouts, and madame librarian clothes in which she cut her skirt open in the middle and placed the bottom half behind her calves. This show was flat for me, especially after London and even the other conservative Milan shows that have happened so far. I support using the same space too from a ecological standpoint, but to me it almost feels like they had a shitty show and didn't have the energy to make a space for it because it wasn't worth the energy.
You clearly don’t know anything about Prada or italian fashion. Find something alse to comment. It was a magnificant fashion show, unlike that unecessary waste of tulle that Ny/London has become unfortunately.
@@picture2796 there was barely any tulle in London or new york this fw24 season, there was a lot of stiff taffeta, especially at molly goddard, So I think you might confused. Also I didn't state anything about prada or Italian fashion specifically I critized the show for being unremarkable and flat especially against ss24.
@ please tell me how you at home are personally affected by miuccia prada's casting decisions for a fashion show. you are not a victim and you are not affected by anything she does.
The extreme closeups of the speakers make me uncomfortable. We're listening to what they say, do we need to look into their nostrils too ?

Prada is being of the most iconic brand

it’s almost like the Prada woman is every woman but every woman is not a Prada girl….let me know if that makes sense 😅
This was amazing... I loved inclusivity conversation.
The Prada woman is an influencer
Only for the bags
Prada is not the hottest brand in the world. These people dont know wt f they are blabbing about.
miuccia is probably gonna have lotta take over miu miu and raf at prada and focus on the foundation but who knows when
Paloma has worn the miu miu two piece
The beige mincro mini skirt? I think it was custom-made.
anyone who knows anything knows that prada since raf is completely inferior to prada pre-raf.
"Intern showed them"

Who cares😂
this diversity and inclusion talk is soooooo boring and stale omds, let the designers cast whoever they want
i think a designer casting only skinny white teen girls is more boring
