    Hey pall few questions for you .. U am building my own diy wetland how do i know if my pump is going to be strong enuf to push water all the way Thu the cobbles without testing it ... and I live in England and it gets cold a Lot so will this freeze over in winter ??? Thanks and keep up the good work

      David Chadwick How big is your pond and what size wetland are you planning on building?

    Love this video professor! Just a quick question. Why do you use the Aquablox rather then just using large river rock to fill the intake bay? Is it because of cost of using just rock? Or because the blox leave a void?

    • @EdThePondProfessor
      @EdThePondProfessor  3 года назад +1

      The Blocks leave a Void and allow for more consistent water flow.
      I’ve used Large River Rock and it eventually becomes clogged and it’s difficult to fully clean debris from between the gravel.

    Possible to make the intake bay work as a wetland filter? You know what I mean? Like make it work the opposite way of the wetland filter.

    • @EdThePondProfessor
      @EdThePondProfessor  3 года назад +1

      You can be it needs to be modified in order to make it work,
      It is possible and I’ve had some success with that
