When you guys first started this project, I left the message on the Team Aquascape channel asking if you were going to put in a viewing panel. I was told that people don't view koi from the side. People view koi from the top. That actually made sense. But, I should have known better. You guys just couldn't resist. There it is - SIDE VIEW 🤣
    Great job Ed!

Ed Beaulieu hey Ed I was wondering if you could help me out with an issue ,I’m building an above ground pond in my back yard I don’t have much space but I have a small 400 gallon blue tank that I have been growing koi in and it is getting pretty hot in the afternoons and that heat stays till about 9 or 10 pm then it starts cooling down I have instilled a sprayer and a sail shade which helps my question is what can I doing to keep the big pond I’m about to build cooler , the pond will be built on top of concrete 18x18 pavers I was planning on removing only the pavers that will be at bottom of the inside of the pond or will 1inch insulation help with heat transfer, I am installing a 3”bottom drain to an eazypod then a 10000 liter varipump to a UV then to a aquascape bio falls , pond size is 10feetx6feetx3.5feet deep with a west facing 25mm laminated window , please help any recommendations will be appreciated thanks ,

I have watched this video a number of times now as well as whole bunch more.
I am so sorry I only now found out about Aquascape now and not 20 years ago when I started my ponds and work on my backyard
If i would pull out one hair at the time for every issue I have had I would be looking as good as the professor
I am thoroughly impressed with all the work I have seen so far
And to think I only found out about you is because I researched Koi Windows on line
Now there are 2 projects on my agenda
Get a wetland filter for my outside ponds and start seriously thinking about using my abandoned inside pool for a Koi pond with windows in a sub tropical setting since being in Quebec the outside ponds can only be enjoyed for half of the year so to be able and look at our Koi could soon be year round pastime
I enjoy all your great videos

G’day Ed Greg Brian Aquascape teams & Co ;-) beautiful view with a job done well!
Next time after thoroughly cleaning and priming the glass surface you could use masking painters blue tape on the glass to get a crisp sharp clean edge with a straight line every time with no smearing or product thinning.
But the finished job timber slate or tile just may cover the smeared silicone.
Now you can put in a raised glass fish tower too.....
I can see a basement window being installed in to the outside mega pond next....
With many source blessings with love light laughter joy fun play happiness creativity adventures and may peace be with you all!

I found a 1” thick 60”x36” glass for a window for my pond I want to build. Glass is in good condition it’s not crack or scratch the only concern I have is that this glass was used as a coffee table. What do you recommend should I used it or not? It’s $200

I am thinking about cutting the seams and using a panel as a viewing window for an outside pond. The pond is 5 foot wide, 6 feet long, and 7 feet deep and made out of cinder blocks. Do you think using steel frames plates and sealer that this will work?

      Yes,

      Yes,
