This is one the best tracks New Order ever recorded IMHO. A deep, haunting, melancholic masterpiece.

I think it's crazy that they didn't record it in the studio. It's easily better than half the tracks on PC&L.

stationed in germany in 1988 on a convoy, pitch black dark and very cold night through the black forest, aboard an infantry Armored Personel Carrier (APC), driver using only night vision goggles, im listening to this song on headphones on a walkman cassette player... the best.
