This is a masterclass on how to stretch a 30 second clip ou to 8 minutes.
lol. So painful and I was listening at 1.5x too 😂
😂😂😂😂😂
Especially with a demonstration of something that doesn't work.
Now let's fix the annoying sounds if the metal door knob with the bracket while closing the door
I am new to room rental and I have a boarder who is heavy-handed with every door: entry, bedroom, bathroom, cabinets, fridge.
I need a break from being startled throughout the day.
Thank you for the thorough video.
Any help on fridge doors?
My o.c.d wanted to clean the side of the door so badddd😅😅😅😢
I need this, I'm right next to the heavy garage door, every time they open it... it closes like boooooooom. So if I'm sleeping, and they shut that door I'm automatically wide awake. 😡🤬
Another strategy is to divorce your over reacting wife. No more slamming of doors
😳🤣🤣
Because she got the house? 😆
Oh my God so specific😂
I have that same handle on my kitchen cabinet and smh my shirt gets snagged on it all the time😢
Where to place this weatherstripping? Between side of the door and door frame? Or on the doorstop facing the door?
Door stop facing the door. The door jamb.
Something that is missing that I can't find any information on it. How do you put lighting in a soundproof room? I'm doing a living room next to a bedroom, I'm soundproofing both of them. My installation is currently 2x4 full of insulation, all outlet/switch box have putty pad, sonopan, resilient channel and 1 (maybe 2) fire-rated 5/8 gyspum board on all wall and ceiling.
I had plan to install pot light, but these will create many huge hole in the ceiling from the gypsum to the sonopan themself. And more, since they are installed into a octogonal box, this box need to be fixed to the joist which will remove any benefit of the resilient channel. I know there's some that you can "clip" directly in the drywall, no back box required, but then it means I will have very little space between it and the sonopan for airflow and could put too much heat on the sonopan and start a fire, not a good idea.
I also though about doing bulkhead but these require to be attached to stud and joist, again making the resilient channel useless...
So how would I do a basement ceiling in a soundproof room where light need to be installed?
I FITTED A PLYWOOD WITHOUT GAPS ON WINDOW THICKNESS : 9MM...IS IT ACTUALLY LITTLE BENIFITIAL?
Love your channel! Great info!!! Do you have any tips for pocket doors????
Thank you! I have an old video about those types of doors. I’m planning on making a new one very soon! Here’s the link to the 4 year old vid! Best of luck!! 😎 ruclips.net/video/YfopLuA0vs4/видео.htmlsi=FgxBa_DCmoml0A-G
Is there a more permanent solution for under the door when you need to have airflow for HVAC return?
Not really. One thing you can have is an above door air vent with a “silent box” inside it.
I bet that felt good, slamming the door. lol
Haha you know it! 😎
“So the first thing you want to do to make sure that these WORK” NOT WORKS.
whats are you saying?😮
Come on... Sheesh grammar Karen
I didn't know the grammar police were on duty.
