Thank you, Amanda, for another brilliant video. As someone who never wears foundation (it always seems to age me!), I tend to gravitate towards skin tints. My favourites are the Lisa Eldridge Skin Tint and the NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer, but I’ll definitely be giving the Supergoop you mentioned a try. Also, can I just say - your voice and vibe are so chill; it’s exactly what makes makeup videos like this so enjoyable to watch!
My favorite for my extremely dry skin is ILIA SERUM SKIN TINT Also: Kosas BB Burst Gel Skin Tint Lisa Eldridge Skin Tint Ciele Skin tint Super Goop Skin Tint. I have looked into the others but i find it challenging to find a good shade match for my medium olive skintone.
So I have the hourglass skin tint and I love it! I only wear it on weekends or when I'm going out because it is spendy. It has HA, it really plumps your skin. If I'm going out, I mix it with a couple of drops of regular foundation and I end up with a really nice medium coverage. I have never broken out from wearing it. I'm glad it made your list! Now I want to check out the Nars as well. I'm older and will still get oily but matte coverage doesn't seem to work for me anymore. I love your videos. Thank you for taking the time.
@@sfgurlyeah yessss the hourglass is totally plumping. If you like the hourglass, I think you’ll like the Nars. They’re very similar except the Nars I find to be just a bit more satin and skin like. I love both.
@@benkobeauty The Nars sounds like more like what I'd like for the work week. Now I just have to find the time to go get shade matched! Thank you so much!

Hi Amanda! Love the video, thank you! What primer/skin prep do you use under the HOURGLASS | Veil Hydrating Skin Tint Foundation? I'm really wanting to make sure I have spf in either a primer or skin prep but keep missing the mark (it doesn't work well with the product). Do you have recommended layering? Thank you x
@@HK-cp8tm I layer :) I don’t usually wear spf though honestly unless I’m spending a day in the sun. I use the caudalie radiance serum or the rhode glazing milk under my makeup :)
@@benkobeauty oh really?! Thanks for sharing. Is it because the way it messes with makeup generally? If you were to wear an SPF under makeup do you have a go to? x
@ I just don’t wear it because most of them are packed with harmful ingredients and I guess I just don’t buy that you need to wear sunscreen every day 😅 My go to though are the Kosas ones or the Murad one!
@ yes and no. I’m conscious. Foods I like to be pretty mindful of but that also isn’t stopping me from enjoying a fast food burger when I have the craving. My favourite skin tints are mostly Korean, like the Dr Jart premium BB cream, Missha and Purito BB cream, Heimish Morinaga BB cream. From western brands I liked the NARS tinted moisturiser, the Rare beauty one was ok too. I really want to try Tower 28, Saie and Lisa Eldridge's skin tints at some point, and from your list the Fenty one as I like it when there is added SPF in skin tints
My favorite skin tint is Westman Atelier Complexion drops. However, I have very dry, sensitive skin, and do not think it suits oily or partly oily skin. That's why skin care and makeup is so personal, right?
I have and really like the one by Lisa Eldridge. Super thin and fluid, light/medium coverage, looks dewy and natural - like my skin but better! I have tried a sample of the Nars but wasn't impressed. I used to use Missha in the past but the shades are limited and pull a bit grey - I don't think they suit non-Asian complexions really well
why do you need skin tints? your skin is flawless! i like the maybelline bb cream w spf, its cheap and it spreads nicely, it dries down and its got some extra spf
Wet n Wild tinted hydrator has great coverage for a tint Neutrogena serum foundation is great too. It's not really a foundation, more like a tint These two are great for dry skin also
@@jenash44 there’s lots of drugstore skin tints out there depending on what you need- elf halo glow liquid filter, maybelline fit me, nyx bare with me, L’Oréal skin paradise, wet n wild bare focus, milani glow hydrating skin tint, covergirl skin milk.
